Background story on Dolgrin(half-orc sorcerer): I come from a faroff village called Dolgo.The village started out very peaceful and prosperous where fear was an unatural feeling to them. Humans and Orcs got along together and even dwarfs were cheerful. Then one day a warlord by the name of Achor strode his army into the village. The warlord demanded unpayable amounts of money from the village. The village council ordered thier warriors to resist the army but were easily overun by the better trained and equiped warriors. The village was destroyed and the creatures there were sold into slavery . But in the midst of all the death and suffering was a being whos parents were killed in the fighting who had unatural powers and had the natural ability for magic.That child grew up with revenge in his eyes and when he became an adult he left the solitude he grew up in alone.When he travaled to a more populated area he asked of his villages fate from a town scribe who kept records of happenings.He said that the slave caravan leaving from his village was lost when they crossed a range of strange moutains and were never found or seen again.So to this day Dolgrin is still trying to find the remains of his village.

no problem i was wondering that. If i was playing anything without a code of moral duty, which is how i percieve this guy to be, i would have already killed him myself lol. i was trying to keep him as "in game reality" as posible.
Hold your blade Shosuro. He is nothing to us now other than someone the law should deal with. He has given us information that will aid us in catching the true criminal and he is unarmed. We can bind him and allow justice to take its course with him when we return to town.
jin would not take it well if the man who is unarmed and giving us info to aid our cause is behead edas he fled from the field of battle. he would see that as murder not honorable combat and violating his code of honor. I will roleplay that out if it occurs
Jin finshes his markings and stands then says to no one in particular
I want to know where Slate and the rest of his men are. You will take us there or tell us how to get there or you wll die now.
Jin moves around among the corpses and checks to see if all are truly dead. Checking the wound he recieved he knows that it will be an addition to numerous scars he has gained in his warlords service.
These men were ill-prepared. We can only hope that the full gang is as bad as this. I do not believe the next group will fall so easily.
He pulls his long-stemmed pipe from its case and packs it. LIghting the sweet tobacco he begins to add some markings to his scabbard whilst murmuring something to himself. He stands when finished and draws deeply on the pipe for a while.
Jin follows through with his slash and steps up to the man getting his weapon reloaded
not sure if i was close enough to AOO him but i am moving in to attack and roll both.
He slashes hard at the mans lower belly to allow for a follow up after this attack.
When the man turns to see the noise in the bushes Jin release his arrow at his undefended back.

Jin begins reciting a war song to his warlord in his mind. The tension of the bow not waivering even the least as he waits for what seems to be the longest heartbeats of the day.
thinking to himself
Come now Shosuro my friend give us some sort of a signal so we can be done with these outlaws.
Jin whispers
Wait for a moment they are alerted to a presence. But they do not see us yet. Allow Shosuro time to take full advantage of that. We are a good distraction rite now and still safe. I wish I could make some animal noises right now to settle them back down again.
Jin draws the bow tight and aims at the man with the waraxe.
If they move towards us i will let this arrow fly and then charge in. Just give it a few more heartbeats...

Staying as low as possible Jin quietly pulls the arrow taught. He readies an action to fire the arrow at the man nearest the horn if he moves to use it.
Jin rides into the night remembering his vision. He follows shosuro and korren as they lead and keeps an arrow at the ready as he rides.
As the group stops and prepares for a more silent approach Jin speaks softly to So-Han.

turning to the group he whispers
I will wait for your signal before firing and then closing for the attack.
Jin follows the group but keeps a slight distance back from them. He realizes his skill at silent warfare is lacking. It was not the way of his training as he is more prepared for a face to face battle with his foes. He watches and nearly loses sight of Sho and Korren as they move with great ease in the shadows.
Jin excepts the pipe and begins to draw deeply from it. Slowly at first and then holding the smoke until its effects have taken hold securely. He allows himslef to fall into the meditative state caused by the herb and begins to see himself from the outside.........
As he stands with his Katana he flows truly as the song of a true warrior. The blade sings in unison with his muscle movements. There is no longer a sword and a blade master but there is only song. The song and dance of true understanding of how the sound causes pure efficiency of movement and power. Nothing lost and nothing gained from all the movemnets make it true beaty and artistry. A true master of his weapon and a leader of all that stands for justice and honor when combined with the code of warriors....... sleep

Well met kin we are looking for a man that leads a band of thugs. his name is Slate and we are going to bring him to the local authorities to answer for his crimes. Have you seen any recent large groups traveling throught this area towards the jade mines.

Jin knocks the coals loose in his long stemmed pipe on his boot. He repacks a small amount of sweet tobacco in it and waits for the others to finish loading the corpse onto Korrens mount. He raises himself up in his stirrups to scan the horizon in the direction they are going. perception 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Pulling his compass from his side pouch out he checks to see if they are still somewhat on course. survival 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 Looking back around the area to locate some natural landmarks, Jin puts the compass away and begins humming an old warrior marching song to himself.
this man was in league with the criminal we seek. His fate was delivered to him at the bottom of this hole. He can stay there too.
With that Jin begins to untie his rope and kick the body back in the pit.

Jin begins to light his long stemmed pipe and mounts up. He readys another arrow with his bow and waits for the others to move out along the same path.
It sounds as though whoever this person was writing too was also trying to start a rebellion somwhere. Does anyone know of any recent insurrections in this realm or in this area? Maybe the locals in town would know of this.

He hasn't been dead for too long so these events written here could be current actions taking place as well in this area. What caravans go through here? Maybe we could find out who this was if the trading company had a manifesto of materials and persons.

Jin-darus sees his arrow hit home. He lets fly his second arrow attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13 damage 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8. As the beast rears up to attack Korren and his mount Jin will spur his mount to within 35 feet of the Snake.

He drops from the saddle and bellows loudly at the snake.
issues a challenge to the snake +4 to damage and gain DR 2/- vs attacks from the snake.
He draw his weapon and awaits the anger of the beast...

Jin-darus wakes early and prepares himself mentally by going through a series of excercises with his katana. He meets the rest of the group in the courtyard and checks his gear and rations again.

As the group heads out of town he reins in near Ktaze and Korren.

Jin moves forward to the front of the group and rides on. Checking his compass quickly he scans the horizon as he pulls his bow and knocks an arrow. The breeze flutters through his banner as it hangs from his bow.

Seeing the woman's movements and looks, will put JIn on the defense mentally. However he believes a good offense is the best defense. Jin moves over to the table where she is seated and sits down. He makes no eye contact but places his drink and his hands on the table in front of him.

Jin-Darus Takes a seat at the counter table with the rest of the group and packs a large amount of sweet tobaco in the long stemmed pipe. He listens to the music and asks the waiter for a glass of hard whiskey. A new found pleasantry that he enjoyed after a day of excitement. It seemed to calm the nerves and allow for more free and open conversation. He scans the room and chooses a few of the obvious easterners and a couple of the shadier looking "rascals" that he would try and glean some info from.

I take no pleasure in slaying the young warrior. Young samurai that are not pure of heart become bloodthirsty killers when they are grown. If I had not challenged him then he would be here to commit atrrocities on the innocent in the future. It was fate that brought him here, and he met it.

Why is it young warriors decide to threaten old men? Do they not have enough challenges from other young warriors that want to test their steel. Or maybe they are to afraid to test their will against a true warrior.
With that Jin takes a long pull and blows some smoke rings in the direction of the samurai. he turns slowly and lets his gaze fall in the direction of the samurai.
Jin is a heavy set Half elf with features leaning more human than elf. Standing around 6'6 his demeaner is calm and emotionless. His face shows maybe 30 years of age and his skin is a darkend yellow with straight jetblack hair. He will normally wear his cloak over the elaborit armor of his Lord and smokes an unusually long stemmed pipe with an odd smelling tobacco. He makes no effort to hid the katana at his side. He keeps his gaze unfixed and will not look directly into anothers eyes unless in battle. If approached and spoken to his replies are always brief but courteous in manner.

ex. elven adaptability trait gives skill focus as a bonus feat changes to Dual minded trait which gives a +2 will save?
Also a samurai using HOnor in all things ability is +4 bonus to a skill or saving throw. could that be calculated in with you reaction phase reflex roll at the time of the duel if you hadnt used it already that day?
can i get a check on these duel bonuses to make sure im at least close
