About Jianbao S. Choyaku
Jianbao grew up in Eryin Forest in Quain. Early in his childhood, he was tutored by one of the monks of a monastery near his home village. Jianbao wasn't entirely happy with the strict life of the monks, so he longed for a better way of living.
One night, Sun Wukong spoke to him in his dreams (or maybe he was there and actually spoke to him. Nobody will ever know.) which led Jianbao to the decision to leave the monastery and spread the word of the Monkey King.
Jianbao wears simple monk's clothing with a fake monkey's tail attached. Unlike actual monks, though, he also wears a chain shirt.
