Delayed action... also sorry for lateness of init roll... been having a very hectic week

"Wake up the whole bloody cave with that sort of racket... we'll all be dead before lunch time..."

Jeny stirs, with the sudden sound of movement. She wakes to see people shuffling off down the corridor. She stands adjusts her gear and follows on thank goodness, I couldn't stand to have stood around any longer, making noise for all manner of creatures to hear.

Jeny slinks away from the object in embarrassment, and while the group is discussing the highly technical nature to which they will draw some runes, Jeny finds a corner to sit in and is soon dozing off.

Jeny grabs hefts the strange shattered arcane apparatus.

"See, its not that heavy."

"Why don't we just take it with us and inspect it later?"

Jeny leans from foot to foot, looking around the open plains and the entrance to the cairn, not sure what scares her most.

Seeing everybody is preparing to go, Jeny packs up her things and readies herself for the days travels.

Wounds feeling better?

Jeny nods in reply.

Jeny are you comming with us

"I would very much like to..." muttering to herself "...Its not like I have any where else to go..."

With the chatter Jeny soon rises, sitting up from her bedroll she pulls her backpack closer and eats a small breakfast.

Jeny wonders around the building collecting firewood and clearing pieces of debris over the next hour. Once finished she drops all wood collected in front of the fire place and finds herself a nice corner to resign for the night.

Jeny follows along with the group, ever nervous about... everything.

thanks for the healing and there is a waterskin on my character sheet.

sorry i cant really remember the healing rules off the top of my head now that you have made a heal check etc. do i gain the 2 hps instead of one when i rest?

Jeny seems impartial to the talk of the others, she sits down and starts rummaging through her pack, producing some dried meats, bread and water.

Jeny follows no deity herself believing to have been forsaken to live her life miserable and lonely with the burden she caries. the burden itself is the spirit of a fallen warrior of tempus, so tempus does see her as what you might call a follower in denial

i have been looking but i cant find anyone i think suits jeny properly.

Jeny looks the entrance the whispering cairn, "Your going in there?" she says nervously. Then noticing the unknown of the open wilderness and the setting sun she quickly comes round "Yeah... good idea I think I'll be safe with you."

Jeny stands, hefts her axe and tries to clean herself as much as possible.

"I... I left Daggerford... I had to get away, I thought maybe I could get lost in the Stirgenest cairn, and live the rest of my life alone... I cant hurt anybody if I'm alone... but the wolves... I was attacked by wolves and I lost my temper... < Jeny starts to cry again as she relives the nightmare > There all dead... I slaughtered them all. Then standing there looking at them... so much blood... I just started running... Next thing I remember is being here crying... I guess I passed out of exhaustion... Where am I?"

After getting all that of her chest Jeny seems calmer.

Deciding for the minute that there not bandits Jeny relaxes slightly.

Jeny does not have her axe in her hand, its still on the ground in front of her.

"I have a small bite on my leg otherwise I am fine... My name is Jeny who are you people?"

Jeny is still shacking with fear but none of you can tell if it is because of you or the ordeal that covered her in blood.

The you girl doesn't notice you at first shes mumbling to herself... "I... I killed them all... I had too It was me or them... I mean... They would have killed me..." She soon notices your presence and jumps back a few meters screaming "AHHH BANDITS!! PLEASE DON'T HURT ME I'LL GIVE YOU EVERYTHING!!"

ignore previous in game interaction with jeny... with a new personality come a new introduction

you all see a young woman sitting helplessly crying quietly outside the cairn... she is covered in blood and so is her large greataxe next to her.

i do not enjoy this conflict... jeny is based off a lvl 10 minotaur barbarian build that i am playing in a table top game... all i ever wanted to do was test this toon a bit before the table top version came into play.

i wont change jeny... but i will make different toon if people would prefer.

EDIT: actually if people want i will change jenys personality and to something slightly more player friendly

I agree with Guy here, also I don't want to sound like a dick or anything but Ricky I read through the argument in group #2, and although I agree with your actions due your character build and background, know coming into this group that we are cautious and in your own words "slow" because we want to be if this isn't your style I am sorry but I think this group has really rped pretty well. It doesn't matter how far we have gotten so far!

Sorry Kayos for posting this in pbp thread but it needs to be said

i am an experiance D&D player. i will role play my toon acuratly. i am playing a very double edged toon i admit that but all it takes is a few players to acctualy read my toon sheet and not do stupid stuff like insult my god or give me too crap for her actions and things will run smothly... jeny is hasty not stupid... shes not going to go chargeing down the dungeon setting of every trap and alerting everybody to the groups presence... but if there are hostlies running around and nobody stops her she will always (or at least try to) be first in combat. in relation to what have become the 2 most controversial posts of my life

based on this please decide as a group if you care that jeny joins the group.

sorry terranova but i was posting in response to a post made in the ic game thread... as for the response i posted... i want to edit it but i cant even see it.

jeny may have worked as a free lance bodyguard for the lodge whenever they needed some valuables transported they sent me to escort there delivery boy... while doing so jeny and kessel could have met a few times?

also i made a post in the other thread replying to what u said guy... but it seems to have disappeared :(

jeny is jeny... take it or leave it. what i have written up is a basic description about the girl... it does not mean every time she has a disagreement with somebody shes going to fight em... yes she is rash, impulsive, and quick to anger... so long as nobody insults tempus we'll be fine. as for reading over current information that has already been done.

if anybody in the party wants to work out a quick back story to make character integration a little easier let me know i dont mind...

perhaps i could be a friend of Tirra & Auric and they did me the favor of inviting me to meet up with you guys and keep an eye on you... which would of course them being flattering me by putting me in a phony position of authority... not that i would bother role playing the fake authority.

well jeny is still walking out of the cairn... anybody is welcome to run after her but if not i guess i'm leaving the game... Kayos i really love your DM'ing and i would be tempted to to play in group 1 but i'll be reading over there actions and if jeny is just going to cause more problems i wont.

i'm just incredibly frustrated with this group over the whole wolf thing.

next time you want to work as a team, back a party member up in combat before they get 2/3 attacks on her and then you decide there hostile.

So praising your character for her skill in battle, and asking for someone to heal her is something that would cause you to 'pvp' me? Get over yourself.

I fail to see the praise.

For one ooc D&D experience says if its in a dungeon and its not intelligent (therefore cant be communicated with) its an encounter... that means combat.

in character common sense says when u walk into a wolves den there is no "avoiding" them, they came out to attack us and jeny defended... and while you guys were scolding her for killing "weak and mangy" animals those "weak and mangy" animals were ripping her to shreds. jenys thinking that if every time she runs into battle the party is going to go "oohh thats not cool maybe we could just feed the zombies a lil brains and the'll be on there way" then shes not hanging around...

as for the pvp well you came close to what jeny could ("could" being why i let is slide) considered insulting tempus and that is the quickest sure fire way to get her to kill sombody. this isnt the ooc me being annoyed let me quote from her bio:
"To jeny all disputes can be settles with a dual"
"to Jeny everybody is fair game"

in respect to attacking party members you have to remember jeny asserts herself through her strength and her combat skills, if your verbally attacking her actions and cant seem to comprehend her reasons for doing what she did and then continuing to verbally attack her shes going to knock you down and then say "Well that settles that i guess i was right" after beating you in combat (i doubt she'll kill you shes CN not CE) this directly relates to: "To jeny all disputes can be settles with a duel"

as for why she'll leaving hmm maybe when the whole group took the side of the mangy wolves over her it hurt her feelings...

be careful greylan, I nor jeny are above acts of PVP and your borderline breaking one of the rules that causes jeny to rage... she may have used rage for the day but she'll still attack.

first things first, 3 or more opponents fighting a single person and anybody taking 50% of there lift total in one round are two of jenys rage criteria... so shes losing her temper next round.

(It hits if you include a flanking bonus)

bare in mind until i act i am AC 11 due to chargeing... when i rage i will remain AC 11 (because of the charging -2 ending but rage -2 starting) then there is flanking negatives aswell
