Female Tiefling (Infernal Bastard) Witch 3
I forgot to write out my cantrips for the day, but I assume that it's alright. "Why yes, but be careful not to provoke the beasts inside. I have heard tales about some that I do not wish to witness first hand." She picks up a nice palm-sized stone, casts light on it, and hands it to Musad.
Female Tiefling (Infernal Bastard) Witch 3
Jen cackles and picks up Whiskers to congratulate him. Who's a good cat? YOU'RE A GOOD CAT. She pauses momentarily to pick up a random scrap of cloth to clean the blood and gore off Whisker's claws. Then Whiskers scampers up to her shoulder. Well, we should probably get this place cleaned up. Anubites don't smell good when they're alive, but smell even worse after being dead for a few days.

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21 Jen's cat slinks up to the top of the wall, peering over and staying out of the way. After the anubites notice and engage Musad, Jen will use a slumber hex by pointing her hands at one of the holes in the grated door (DC 15), then making sure she can't be hit by a spear or something by backing up. If it succeeds, Whiskers will sneak along near the slumbering anubite (since she's a cat, and there's a big scary elf fellow too) and the next turn, digs its claws into the slumbering anubite's throat, dealing 6 damage and requiring a DC 16 Fort Save.

Jen looks down at Arik and then at herself. Well, it seems that we have lost plenty of blood in this struggle, and after the fight with the mummies, I don't believe I have many resources to continue the fight. Jen is at 4/20 Jen uses cure light wounds on Arik to try and stir him back to consciousness. 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 Do we have any healing resources on hand to continue the fight or perhaps we should retreat and fight again another day?
Female Tiefling (Infernal Bastard) Witch 3
Jen moves diagonally five feet, making the anubite turn so that he can see that no other anubite is still fighting. Your fellows have fled or lost their heads, so now it's time to run to bed! Jen uses misfortune on the anubite (DC 15 Will or it has to roll twice on every skill check, attack roll, etc and take the worse roll). Whiskers stands in front of Jen, so the anubite would have to walk into the same square as Whiskers if the anubite didn't flee and wanted to attack Jen.
Female Tiefling (Infernal Bastard) Witch 3
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15 Jen draws her sacrificial stone dagger and jabs it into the badly injured anubite in front of her, in a wimpy but effective manner. 1d3 ⇒ 3 damage Whiskers five foot steps near the anubite the Jen brought down the round before with the slumber hex, and coup de grace's it (DC 16 Fort save or die, 6 damage regardless)
Female Tiefling (Infernal Bastard) Witch 3
Blast these anubites! Have they been struck with insomnia? Jen refocuses her attention on another anubite nearby and uses slumber on them (DC 15 Will Save). If this succeed, Whiskers five foot steps away from the anubite to whom he is currently adjacent and coup de grace's the new anubite. If not, Whiskers takes a withdraw action to move behind Jen.
Female Tiefling (Infernal Bastard) Witch 3
Whiskers AoO: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Thanks to accursed hex, Jen has another shot at the formerly sleeping anubite and uses the slumber hex again (DC 15 Will) If it falls, then Whiskers digs his claws deeper into the anubite's throat, dealing a coup de grace (6 damage, DC 16 Fort or die)
Female Tiefling (Infernal Bastard) Witch 3
Jen laughs as she sees her the first anubite slump to the floor. Whiskers five-foot steps towards it and digs into its throat with its claws (DC 16 Fort Save or die, and 6 damage). She sees another anubite near her and sends another slumber flying its way (DC 15 Will save)

Ah yeah, you're right. I went back and looked at the section that I've looked at so many times before and it turns out I was wrong. Thanks for telling me; can't believe that I missed something so simple Revised action: Jen moves forward and to the side about 30 ft and uses slumber on one of the enemies that aren't being targeted by anyone. (DC 15 Will Save or fall asleep) Her current position is off to the side, but only a bit offset from the front line, so that hopefully she will be attacked but since she's not in the direct line of action, an anubite couldn't charge her in a straight line without one of the meleers in the party getting an AoO. Whiskers scampers next to her. Yes, I will just have to be more clever with how to go about this. Just need to pick up something from town after we're done with this arc. Also will make the look complete. :D
Female Tiefling (Infernal Bastard) Witch 3
Jen moves forward about 15 ft and uses slumber on one of the enemies that aren't being targeted by anyone. (DC 15 Will Save or fall asleep) If the anubite she is targeting fails the save, Whiskers will jump in on top of the anubite and cut its throat. (6 damage + DC 16 Fort Save or die)
Female Tiefling (Infernal Bastard) Witch 3
Jen takes one of the smaller, outside layer of her cloak off and wraps it around Whiskers like a reaper's cloak. Catalina, your hawk may be a good fighter, but Whiskers has tasted blood more than a few times and now, creatures ten times his size fear him. Prepare yourself; the dogs of war are coming.
Female Tiefling (Infernal Bastard) Witch 3
After Jen sees where Arik and Pavok are charging to, she uses web to entangle the anubites that aren't being targetted to get as many as possible stuck inside. (DC 16 or grappled) That was her surprise round. Then she lights a tinder with spark and then chucks it into the web, engulfing them in flame. (2d4 damage and maybe catches them on fire)
Female Tiefling (Infernal Bastard) Witch 3
Jen follows the group reluctantly, realizing that they needed a spellcaster if the lady turned out to be hostile and a restraining female presence if the lady turned out to be a friend. She keeps her face cloaked and hidden to seem mysterious and extremely powerful, as most of the mightiest arcane spellcasters were frequently hidden in the shadows.

First – How do you feel about my GMing style? I think it's the only style that really works in PbP, although I might be a bit biased in this respect. The only thing is that posts seem to come in giant chunks all the time, so it's hard to carry on a conversation. I think the best things when you are doing this are the
Second – How do you feel about the campaign you are in? All of them are fun in their own ways. :P Third – How is my ability to communicate details? No complaints. Sometimes it's hard to catch everything when it's in a giant block though. It might be necessary, but using more spaces helps. Fourth – Is there any advice you can offer in regards to running online games? Nopers Fifth - Is there any other comments or concerns, or advice? Nopers

It is not our identity or purpose that is important. It is yours. Jen hopes that another female presence will make her feel more comfortable. What is the purpose of this ritual and to whom are you offered? If you answer these questions, then all of your answers will be answered.

Even evil has motives that we cannot forsee. I will not stop you if you choose to take her with us, and I will attempt to see the changing course of events and move our hands so they are not blown off by the ensuing maelstrom, but I am just saying that we should be wary. The choice and decision should be clear to you, even though it is not to me. That is one of the benefits of being devoted to a god.
Female Tiefling (Infernal Bastard) Witch 3
There are still many things that we cannot understand. In such circumstances, we should not try to pretend that we understand, but let things run their natural course. Such is the way of the arcanist, to allow the ebb and flow of magic itself and only weave what can be understood. As in the example of Nethys, understanding the enigmatic side of magic can cause great harm. We don't understand the situation. We cannot blindly interfere.
Female Tiefling (Infernal Bastard) Witch 3
I am charmed by your offer, but unfortunately I am already spoken for. Whiskers has killed countless anubites, and he is only one of the many soldiers that the supreme masters of the underworld commands. Although I would have to say, one servant of a dark lord to another, wouldn't acting in favor of that dark lord be better than making a sacrifice? The anubites are an unnatural scourge on this land. It is clear that my path is to help end this enemy. If my lord has decided to end this threat and pushed me through fate, then wouldn't your lord, who is probably has more good than mine, support the same? I may not actively serve my lord, but the gods control fate and fate controls the web of all things. Perhaps the reason I am destined to be here is to help gain a powerful ally against the anubite scourge, you.

Surprise Round Jen raises her hand in an incantation and casts web, making a 40 ft diameter "circle" of web, trapping as many of the mummies as possible without affecting the other PCs. (DC 16 Reflex save or become grappled) Watch out! Round 1 Jen casts spark on the web, lighting the entire thing on fire and consuming the mummies in flame. Each trapped in the webbing takes 2d4 damage and potentially catches on fire (since, they are wrapped in flammable cloth and resin). Usually rules on fire are that they must make a DC 15 reflex save every round. Each time they fail, they get 1d6 damage. If they succeed, the fire goes out (but perhaps the fire nearby is still raging and could catch em on fire again).
