Description::
A small black scale Kobold approaches you. His muddy breastplate covers his chest. A scar on his left eye gives you chills. The bow on his back appears to be made of moss, wood, and weeds. He wears a black cloak, and a strange yellow hat.
He speaks gutturally, and you get the feeling he doesn’t know common. In Draconic he says So How much am I getting Paid.
Personality::
Jek Jer is a mercenary with a heart of gold. He loves gold, and all forms of Payment. To him, everything has a price, especially his service. He is loyal, and if he has a contract, and someone wants him to go against it, he may try to kill them. Underneath his gruff, impersonal nature, is a greedier person, though his greed only will take him so far?
Background::
Jek Jer grew up a lone. He worked hard, first working on a farm, then becoming a scout for Brevoy. He learned to fight, working hard for himself. Eventually, when his company was killed off, and he left the Brevoy Military. He became a mercenary, and has taken a few jobs from people who spoke Draconic. A while ago he received an invitation to head to the stolen lands. While he had to have someone translate for him, he did find out why he got the invitation. His skills at tracking, and his time as a farmer, soldier, and bounty hunter did attract some minor attention. He gained the invitation after turning in a bounty for a noble and was given the invitation instead of payment. Enough for him to be invited to the stolen lands. With this Invitation, he vowed to learn common.
He is accepted by civilization because he has stopped some nuisances from being to much trouble.
