Count me in! :) 1. Jayik can cause a large amount of damage with bombs, and can provide healing in a pinch. His high stealth also makes him a good scout. 2. Jayik can provide income and gear by crafting alchemical items. 3. The entire story is available in the alias, but the gist of it is that he wants to grow in power and wealth until he can take on the dragon that enslaved his people. 4. I will post as much as necessary (and then some) to keep this campaign alive. Jayik's already fallen victim to one aborted adventure; I don't intend for it to happen again.

Ah! I knew I was forgetting something! I managed to completely forget about carrying capacity. Shuffled his stats around a bit so he isn't completely bogged down. Thank you for the reminder, and the kind words.

At level 6 you can take the breath weapon bomb and do bomb damage to all targets in 15-foot cone. And you will get access to Form of the Dragon one level before even a wizard. Might look into the Master Cymist prestige class too. Excellent ideas! I think I'll take Precise Bombs first, just so I don't barbecue the baby. Master Chymist is very tempting.

Someone has submitted a wizard already and the further you separate yourself from another's build the better the chance to get picked. Its completely up to you but I think a Kobold could make an excellent alchemist. Never even thought about it till now. Thanks for the input! I'm still fairly new at this. The only reason I took Arcane Bomber was because of the cold bombs (and because no one plays arcane bombers), but I think alchemist will do nicely. Just have to reflavor the White Dragonbreath Grenades as white fire. |
