Ok so a familiar is an animal, or vermin chosen by a spellcaster to aid him. It becomes a magical beast. What about a tumor familiar? The tumor starts off as a part of the alchemist body and can detach itself resembling a kind of animal suitable for a familiar. Does the tumor familiar retain the alchemist creature type, or does it become a magical beast? What about an aberrant bloodline familiar gained through the aberrant tumor feat, would it be an aberration? Also thinking about familiars I now want to make a hypochondriac character with a tumor familiar with the figment archetype insert Arnie's "It's naht a toomah" here.
