Hero Lab is now available in the iPad app store!

This first version of Hero Lab for the iPad is an in-play character sheet for Pathfinder, available for free! You can create your character on your desktop or laptop, and then move it to the iPad for use during the game. You can find more information in our November newsletter.

We’d like to thank some of the wonderful people helping to make PaizoCon great - the official PaizoCon GMs. Any GM running an official game at PaizoCon can pick up a free copy of Hero Lab from us during the weekend and discover how much simpler life can be! We know that many GMs have already adopted Hero Lab, and we want to recognize your support of PaizoCon as well. So, if you’re an official GM who already owns Hero Lab, you can stop by to claim a special "thank you" — a free copy of our add-on for Ultimate Equipment when we release it! To claim your free license or add-on, all you have to do is stop by our Character Creation Stations during PaizoCon and present your badge to a member of our staff.

For everyone who’s planning to pick up the Beginner Box, we've got great news. We’ll be releasing a new version of Hero Lab that’s designed exclusively for the Beginner Box before Christmas. The even better news is that we’ll be offering it for FREE!

This streamlined version of Hero Lab will allow you to easily create, save and print characters using the Beginner Box classes, as well as the new class introduced in the Beginner Box Player Pack. Hero Lab’s intuitive interface will quickly walk you through all the stages of character creation and validate your character meets all its requirements. With Hero Lab, you’ll be ready to play after only a few minutes.

For GMs out there, we’ll also be including monster stats from the Beginner Box and the GM Kit, giving you all the information you need to quickly create your NPCs and encounters. Hero Lab’s Tactical Console will also be available to help you run encounters during the game. Cut down your preparation times and spend more time playing!

We’re looking for Hero Lab®users with experience using the Editor in creating data files for Pathfinder and who are interested in working with third party publishers to incorporate their content into Hero Lab.

Based on our recent Powered by Hero Lab™ announcement, which you can find at http://www.wolflair.com/index.php?context=newsletter&page=september_201 1, we’re expecting more third parties to create and release content for Hero Lab. We believe some of them will be looking for assistance in creating the data files and we want to connect them with users who might be able to help.

Please include your contact information, details of your experience with creating Hero Lab data files, and an indication of how much time per week you have available to work on projects. We’ll check with you before we supply your information to anyone.
