I've been temporarily removed from the RPG world but this turned out really great. Even got a Template Fu review.

Sucks for folks to get DQ'd but nice to see Frank get into the show.
I rolled three 1s in game last night. Two in a row on saving throws that I would've made with a 2 or higher.
Had fun.

Yeah, it's awesome.
I'm glad we got a Paladin in there.

Aura: Moderate Abjuration; CL13th
During voting, I thought the item was neat and had potential.
Boring Templating Stuff: take out capitalization in aura (moderate abjuration), slot (none), spells at the bottom (dispel magic)
Personally: I don't like class-specific items. I feel they should instead be transferred into an archetype.
Effect: I'm not super excited about what it does. I would've preferred the monk slapping the spell back to the spell caster as spell turning or something like that.
I think you did a good job with the price vs. intended level of use (that doesn't happen often).

Diver's Float
Fun item.
Boring template stuff: You don't need the leather or feet of rope in the construction requirements. If it truly is below 1/2 lb then you should use an EM dash, but the way this item is described I think it would weigh at least a pound or two. It seems like the player would actually wear this item, so 'user' should read 'wearer' instead.
Low-level magic items are the best because most games end up being low level.
Does the item let you hold your breath forever? Does it allow you to dive as deep as you want, regardless of pressure? As the item currently reads, it doesn't. The price of the item suggests that this is intentional. I think maybe it should do one or both of these things to fit the theme.
I like your imagination. Keep it up!
FYI gang, I'm doing a Realm Building add on for the Outlaw Council.

Coin of Chance
I kept your item because it was simple and had a minor effect that was still interesting.
Formatting: aura should be faint enchantment, Weight should be followed by an EM dash (annoying little detail) instead of a dash.
I'm torn about the mechanics. Really, every party should have a character always holding this Coin of Chance because a 50% chance of a +1 bonus for 3 rounds is way better than a 50% chance of a -1 penalty for 1 round.
+1 bonuses on attacks and saving throws is useful all the way up to level 20. So even at level 20 we're flipping coins around...it just seems silly. BUT I could see a low level rogue or something flipping their lucky coin before each battle. Maybe a neat little character thing.
Not sure of how to improve it. Maybe if it only worked once per day?

Gebbite Officer's Shield
This was a neat item that combined lore and mechanics really well. Silencing Nexian wizards would certainly be useful for the infantry of Geb.
I couldn't get over the price tag though. So each infantry officer in this war had a 30k+gp shield? Nitpicking on my part but 30k could buy you 4 castles.
Anyway, still a cool lore item. Maybe elite Gebbite mage hunters would have something like this but not every officer of the infantry.

Cool, well-written item. Would be a great story/plot/adventure specific item but it's a little niche for a book of magic items.
I read this item and want to read more things from you. Thank you! I want to write more things to be read. I'm going to submit something for the next Wayfinder, I think. Please do. The theme for the next Wayfinder is the River Kingdoms.

Why not let the wearer of the armor choose which ally acts? I can see some funny/tragic scenarios where allies with the same teamwork feat argue with each other over who gets to act- so perhaps it'd be better to let the wearer choose instead. Arbitration over committee and all that jazz. Thanks for the feedback. You're so right. I don't know what I was thinking. I was trying to be different but in a way that made the game worse. *facepalm*
Anyway. Lesson learned for me.

I thought this would sneak into the top 36.
Seems too expensive to be useful for a long time (by then, the Will save is easily made). Using the silence spell would've lowered the price quite a bit.

Cool armor. I bet this was very close to the top 36.
Probably needs a Fortitude save to avoid the blinding effect even though they failed the Reflex save.

Watch of Borrowed Time
I liked this item, upvoted it plenty, and eventually threw it into my item list.
No DC on the sickened effect?
2nd person should be switched to third to conform to Paizo's style.
In the end, using a move action(that basically gets you attacked since it provokes), to steal an opponents move action (maybe) and give it to an ally just doesn't seem worth the price.
Neat idea. I think some altered version of this item would definitely be top 32 worthy.

This made it to my keep list because I really liked the visuals of jumping in the air and electricity flowing all around you.
Having its most powerful ability conditional upon the weather may have hurt the item.

I kinda wish I thought up several ideas rather than going with the first thing off the top of my head.
Twin Star Breastplate
Aura strong transmutation; CL 13th
Slot armor; Price 42,110 gp; Weight 30 lbs.
Description
Two glowing circles slowly orbit each other on this +3 breastplate. When activated, once per day as a standard action, the circles collide and form a black void, generating a gravitational pulse. All creatures and unattached objects in a 60-foot radius are immediately pulled up to 30 feet closer to the wearer.
Affected creatures can remain stationary as per the reverse gravity spell with a DC 20 Reflex save.
One allied creature that shares a teamwork feat with the wearer can then perform a single standard action to take advantage of the battlefield’s new layout. Only one ally can choose to act. If more than one allies are eligible then the one with the highest initiative modifier, rolling for ties, chooses first.
Construction
Requirements Craft Magic Arms and Armor, reverse gravity, any teamwork feat; Cost 21,230 gp

Overall I'm happy with the writing and style/mojo of most of the items, but many of them are ones that messed up on simple rules (CL, aura, ect.). I think these critiques are as helpful to future contestants. It probably doesn't help the finalists much as they have to keep moving forward.
Hmm what to do. The best way to replace the AP's Rasputin is with a psychic but a mesmerist fits the real life Rasputin so much better.

If anyone has suggestions on how I could have improved the Scallywag's Tooth, I would love to hear them -- I was never quite satisfied with the mechanics of it. Not that you should care what I think...should go make a map or something...but I've never cared much for reroll items or abilities. It doesn't really fit into a narrative very well as the character should not know if they failed the Bluff or Diplomacy check. Kind of...meta-gamey.
That said, maybe once per day on a Bluff or Diplomacy check, the 'wearer' can roll 3 d20s and take the highest. That should bestow something near the +10 bonus that the innocence spell grants.
Or something more fun than that, preferably.
Cool item. Congrats!
In voting, I didn't pay much attention to these boots the first time but they grew on me very quickly.
Pretty much every "Spring Attack" character would try to get these on.
I think these are a little better than having a ring of invisibility which is almost twice the price.
Thomas LeBlanc wrote: I should just give up on creating items and just work on editing them. 4/6 I worked on made the Top 32, another survived the 5th cull, and the 6th I DQed myself because he never swapped out a non-PRD requirement like I recommended. Gonna' recruit you for my pit crew next season if that's okay. I'd like to at least make the Top 100 next time.

Fun item. Love these low-cost, lower-level items.
This is one of those things you give those adventurers and at first they say, "What the heck would I use this for?"
And then that perfect moment comes and the whole table has a great time with it.
Fun shield. Love the description. Great for characters that don't want to spend (what feels like) a million actions getting out that ranged weapon for a few attacks.
Needs a small price/cost fix but that's a small issue that the voters, thankfully, didn't bother voting it down for.
We've had a lot of disarming items both this season and last. This is my favorite.
It's well written and the idea of disarming someone while they continue to flail about in combat as if they were still armed is awesome (and a little funny).
Not sure if I like that it basically grants some free feats but anything that removes Combat Expertise as a feat tax gets a thumbs up from me.
Congrats!
Fun item and I added it to my keep list before I was even done reading it.
I wish we could get the price lower but sometimes it costs a lot to be awesome.
I could tell you were an excellent writer through your play-by-post games. So I'm not surprised to find you in the top 32.
Perfect template. Cool visuals. Fun mechanics.
Not sure if the price vs. cost is right but I always have a hard time with weapons and armor.
Just...an awesome item.
Your ability to consistently get into the Top 32 says something. I think it's your time to win this darn thing already.
I love these well written, low-level items. Low-level characters need some magic item love too.
Sorry to the judges if I'm posting out of turn.
I've seen this item more than any other on personal keep lists.
I think the combination of the visuals, the low caster level, the low cost, and the usefulness made it a voter favorite.
Some minor template problems but I don't think we cared when it came down to the votes.

They discovered one of the Top 32 was submitted by President Obama. The Secret Service has taken over the Paizo office.
The delay is just to give the President extra time to work on his map. He's doing an aerial flip map for all those awesome, high-level sky battles complete with floating rocks.
Game on, Mr. President.
FYI, Michelle ALWAYS plays a rogue. She doesn't care that they aren't optimized.
