The rodent huffs, "Squeak!" and climbs up to Little Dove's shoulder.

Realizing few here are from the States, I still extend my best wishes to everyone here. May we all enjoy a holiday of both Thanks and Giving. Peace, health, happiness.

The white donkey rat sniffs around from his perch on the witch's shoulder. It looks over at the Shoanti observers and snorts, creating a small puff of smoke.

It seems to whisper in Little Dove's ear, to which she narrows her eyes, but she shakes her head. Ivory just snorts again and moves to her other shoulder.

The large rodent clambers up Little Dove’s cloak to perch like a fat parrot, made more ridiculous by the narrow width of the young woman’s shoulders.

A white furry creature scrambles down from Little Dove's shoulder and runs up to the young boneslayers. It proceeds to berate them in what decidely sounds like a language and punctuates his tirade with a puff of smoke, nods firmly, and walks back to the shaman's feet.

I think I have seen capybaras, while on a shore excursion from a cruise in Mexico - would that be the right area? I mostly want a larger-than-tiny animal and capybara is more fun to spell than donkey rat. ;-)

This creature is the size of a small dog - a little too big for a lap dog, actually - with slightly off-white hair and spindly little legs compared to its hunched stocky body. It wears a tiny harness of some sort of leather that fits it well. Somehow, the animal can effortlessly scramble up and perch on Little Dove’s shoulder where it seems to be studying you studying it. Occasionally, it turns its head to hers and it seems to speak in her ear before affixing its beady little eyes on you once more.

When Little Dove introduces herself, the creature sniffs at being left out and blows out a smoke ring, prompting her to introduce it, as well. This is Ivory.

The image isn’t quite right, but he’s basically an over-sized white rat, so I can live with it. As with my familiar, he’s a bit more than he seems.
