Background: Growing up in a family with a tradition for serving in the force can be tough - your dad knows when you're b~+~!%~!ting him, he has friends who walk the beats and keep an eyes out for his wayward son - and he never cuts you any slack when you break the rules. Thus, it wouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who knows him that he has some issues. No-one really ever noticed that he was repressing a lot of anger - he always seemed to have a good heart.
It came as not shock to his family that he too joined the force - despite lackluster writing skills, he scored well in all of the physical tests. His father pulled some strings, and before he knew it, Isaac had been assign to the Metro Division of the SFPD. His physical skill and intellect pulled him through the ranks faster than his father could have hoped, giving Isaac a shot at becoming detective before he was even thirty. Unbeknown to most, Isaac suffered from Dyslexia, which hindered him from passing the written exam. He finally passed after his third attempt, much to the pride of his father and relief of his mother.
Having a good head for bad situations, Isaac was placed with the Vice division of the SFPD - meaning he was dealing with the seediest end of the San Fransisco lowlife on a regular basis. Hookers, junkies, drug dealers and pimps - often in some combination or another. Without warning, the anger he'd always locked away started to get out. At first it was little things; taking down a perp harder than was needed, taking the hard line, becoming colder. It began to escalate, finally culminating in a shooting - he capped a drug dealer in the street, but also winged a little girl.
Almost loosing his badge, Isaac was sent professional help. Anger Management classes, regular appointments with a shrink. Six months after the incident, Isaac still hadn't been let back in, and he began to despair. It was during this time that he took up not only binge drinking, but also chain smoking. His rapid descent was halted, however, by a strange offer - his job back, his life back, all in exchange for a little loyalty - someone on the inside...
The next thing he knew, Isaac had become a creature of the night. Doomed to walk the nights as a predator. Except now, instead of looking out for junkies desperate for the next high, he watched the people, employed to make sure that the masquerade was never breached - and if it was, to hush it up.
It's now been a year since he was Embraced, and he is largely at peace with his lot in life, or rather, unlife...

- His father is in hospital having suffered his second heart attack in as many years - he is currently in a coma.
- Isaac occasionally 'visits' the girl who got clipped in the drug shooting almost three years ago - he watches her from afar, trying to think of some way to pay her and her family back for almost killing their only daughter. If someone was to find out, and she was to get hurt...
