About Iomar Willfree
As a very young child, Iomar lost his parents due to the cruelty of a rampaging warlord during a "cleansing" in his native Galt. If it were not for the timely intervention of a Paladin of Iomadae, Iomar would surely have perished as well. That paladin delivered Iomar to a church in Andoran, where he learned about the deeper mysteries of Iomadae. The courage and martial prowess of the Paladin stuck with him...despite the best efforts of the clergy. Whenever he could, Iomar would sneak out to practice with the best warriors he could find, neglecting his magical studies in favor of the martial. Iomar developed a great intuition and skill with words, never able to keep his head down in a book for long. Upon finishing his studies, he was presented with a tattered wayfinder and fare for a one way trip to Absalom, courtesy of that Paladin who left him years ago. Iomar knew he had but one option: visit the city at the center of the world.
