female human fighter/1

Hello all
I am soon to have very limited internet access, and I won't be able to post very often, so I am afraid I will have to drop out of the game.

It's been great fun playing with all of you, and I hope to see you around on the boards!

"Yeh, we're done," Targ says when none of his companions speak up. "Let's see where these tracks lead. Maybe the cathedral's lost another body. Anybody notice anything suspicious about that big guy?"

"I thought he seemed kind of nice." Ingowil say, while looking up from her search.

female human fighter/1

Ingowil walks outside to find her two companions looking for something. She goes over to them, and looks around for something on the ground. It's only then that she looks up to see the huge person.
"Oh... Hi" She says cheerfully, then goes back to looking.

female human fighter/1

Ingowil rushes to Grael, and tries to comfort him the best she can. "Do the footprints lead to anywhere out the window?" She asks of anybody near the window.

You notice little blood stained footprints leading out the window.

Can she tell what creature made the footprints? Untrained knowledge nature check 8. (I'm assuming this is what I would need)

Ingowil looks at the body with disgust, even though she is obviously used to this kind of thing. She begins to search the room for any sighs an attacker might have left.

"I'll join you." Ingowil says to the rest, while pushing away her empty breakfast plates.

female human fighter/1

Ingowil orders some of whatever they are serving for breakfast, and tucks in with a smile on her face.

Spoiler:
Not this time around. Don't know about later, though..... :)

female human fighter/1

Ingowil wakes still with a happy smile on her face, despite her splitting headache. She sits up, and recalls the night before. The dancing with Aldern, going to the bar to have a drink, more dancing with Aldern. She recalls how she forgot about her companions, and wonders if they were laughing at how uncharacteristically she was acting. Still, she goes down for breakfast with her head in the clouds.

female human fighter/1

Good by me.

An hour pass, the patrons of the Rusty Dragon make room to allow for dancing. A sweet slow music is played. Pairs take to the floor. A handsome nobleman approaches Ingowil, "Milady, may I have this dance." It is Aldern Foxglove.

Szaranoth, you can rejoin the party at the Rusty Dragon.

Ingowil looks very surprised. "Um, well.....Yes...I suppose..." She says haltingly, all the while blushing bright red. She gets to her feet, and shyly moves off with Aldern.

female human fighter/1

I'm still here.

Spoiler:

Ingowil turns away from the entertaining sight of watching Targ and his conversations, and looks over to the man with a smile, blushing slightly. She turns back to her ale, not wanting to be caught staring at him.

Ingowil looks over at the armored man, slightly puzzled. Why wouldn't he carry any weapons? She thinks to herself, it isn't safe with recent goblin attacks.
She shrugges her shoulders, and turns back to her mead.

I think I just might know who you are talking about. This ought to be fun.....

Grael, Ingowil and Etellio, what are your plans for the rest of the evening? Would you be interested in learning new things, acquiring something, or meeting someone? Any PrC ambitions I should be aware about?

Currently, Szaranoth is off to talk to a certain contact, while Targ is talking with Shalelu about gobbos.

I'm good with any of the above. Meeting another person in Sandpoint would be nice.

female human fighter/1

Ingowil sits at the bar with the others, happy that the day was almost done. She listens to Shalelu for a long time while sipping her ale.

female human fighter/1

Ingowil gives a sigh of relief, and starts off for the Rusty Dragon.

Targ the Unwieldy wrote:

"Ale, food, and rest in that order," Targ agrees. "And perhaps some healing for me, if I can find it. Back to the Rusty Dragon then?"

Targ turns to the elf. "Mistress Shalelu, care to join us? You can tell us more about these gobbos over a pint."

"Yes, and maybe you have some more clues that would help us out a bit." Ingowil says to Shalelu.

The elven ranger, sleek in her leather, explains:

“Belor’s told me of your work against the goblins—well done. I’ve dedicated the last several years of my life to keeping them from causing too much trouble around these parts, but they’re tenacious and fecund little runts. Like weeds that bite.

“Anyway, there’s five major goblin tribes in the region, and, traditionally, they’re pretty good at keeping each other in line with intertribal squabbles and the like. Yet from what I’ve been able to piece together, members of all five tribes were involved in the raid on Sandpoint.

“In any event, the fact that the five tribes are working together disturbs me. Goblin tribes don’t get along unless they’ve got something big planned, and big plans require big bosses. I’m afraid that someone’s moved in on the goblins and organized them. And judging by these recent raids, what they’re organizing seems like bad news for all of us.”

"That is bad news." Ingowil says with a sigh, unhappy that there are more goblins. "Maybe we should set up a watch, just to make sure we are ready if anything happens."

female human fighter/1

Ingowil gives a polite nod to the two women.
"Have you found any more clues concerning the grave?" She asks of the mayor.

"That is strange." Ingowil says. "Kind of nasty too." She mutters under her breath.

female human fighter/1

Sorry for the no show, everybody. I was out of town and anticipated a available computer but didn't get one.

Ingowil looks around and notices the people talking about them. She smiles, flattered that she would be called a hero. "Yes, we should go see how the rest of the town fared." She says.

Ingowil moves swiftly and attacks one of the goblins harassing the townsfolk. Offering a token defense, the goblin leers at Ingowil, “Likes you for dinner, Longshanks,” which comment did not in anyway diminish accuracy or potency of Ingowil’s attack. A look of surprise appears on the goblin’s face as his head tumbles off his shoulders. The goblin’s headless body hoses Ingowil in blood.

Ingowil looks down at her now bloody body and shrugs, obviously used to this kind of thing.

In that case
Ingowil runs towards the nearest goblin and attacks.

female human fighter/1

Ingowil looks around, obviously at a loss of what to do next now that their task was over. "So...Are we going to go to the Rusty Dragon now, or what?" She says to the others.

female human fighter/1

Ingowil calls to Szaronoth. "Look! More footprints!" And hurries off after them.

female human fighter/1

I'm assuming we are up on the roof by now. If not, then nix this next part.

Ingowil looks over the edge and waves at Etellio, but quickly jerks her head back. It is a lot higher up than she thought it was. She looks around for more footprints or any other clues.
