As per your instructions, I've already arranged accommodations for sister's impending arrival, and procured a meeting with the Examination Committee for her Entrance Exam.

I've spoken with the Steward once more, but his answers are always the same.
They have no lead, nor suspect. The carriage was undamaged, but of the guards or sister there was no trace whatsoever.
The Steward made it clear that if no new leads are found, they may have to close the investigation for good.
Even without those incompetent buffoons so-called help, rest assured I won't rest till sister dearest is found and brought home safely.

About Imperia:
Imperia is the oldest daughter of the Winthrune noble family, a minor off-shot of great house Thrune of Cheliax. Her family has lived in Westcrown for generations, but unfortunately over the years due to a series of bad decisions and faux pas, their political power has dwindled significantly, leaving the Winthrune almost as social outcasts.
Driven into a corner with virtually no options to regain their lost status, the noble family tried to strengthen its ties beyond the Cheliax border, and more specifically in Korvosa, where they still had a few connections with powerful public figures.

When Imperia showed great promise in learning the magical arts, her parents used their weight and still considerable fortune to ensure their daughter would be enrolled into the prestigious academy, knowing full well that having one of their number graduate from the famous Acadamae of Korvosa would be just what the family needs to get a foothold back into the political game.
Barely ten years old when she was sent away, and with absolutely no say whatsoever in the matter, Imperia has resented her family ever since.

Even so, she obeyed without question, and has maintained over the years a very civil and respectful relationship with her family, especially her mother and younger sister, who came to the Acadamae frequently to visit and make sure she was alright.
Life at the Acadamae was brutal. Harsh lessons, uncaring professors and every sort of danger plagued the place, and what few friends she made over the years, she lost almost to the last, one horrible way or the other. She had to learn to shield her kind nature with an impersonal, aloof demeanor and a layer of cynicism to survive.

Now finally graduated and free to return to her home country, Imperia decided instead to stay in Korvosa and prepare the way for her younger sister, on her way to enroll into the Acadamae herself. Her dear sister would NOT suffer what she suffered, for she'd have her older sister guidance, support and protection. Nobody would do her harm. That, Imperia swore on her very blood.

With her sister's arrival in Korvosa approaching, Imperia made sure all arrangements where made and everything was in place to give her sister a proper welcome. Everything was perfect.

Until the carriage in which her sister traveled failed to show up at the Acadamae gates...

Extra Scene:
The apartment was small and filthy, with no windows. The furniture was old and unassuming, severely lacking in taste and elegance, without even a spare chair for guests.
Normally, she wouldn't have wanted to be caught dead in such a place, but right now Imperia couldn't care in the least.
She paced up and down the tiny room, with long nervous steps.

He was late.

Her contact was late. She paid him well, with the last of her money, in one more desperate attempt. Everyone else had given up. The authorities, those useless idiots, Had been the first, then her friends, and in the end even her family.
But not her. Oh, no! She would get to the bottom of this. She would leave no trail unchecked, no stone unturned, and find her... Her little sister... Celia...

But she was losing hope. She had tried everything she could think of, and found nothing. Now, she had used the last of her money to pay just one more 'professional' to help her gather information.

A knock on the door.

The signal! She run to the door, looked down, and there it was, a note, and an envelop, passed under the door.
With trembling hands she took the note, almost afraid to read through. Her eyes scanned it, looking for one thing, and one thing only... A name, the name of the degenerate who kidnapped her sister. The name of a man that was already dead, if she had anything to say about it.
And there was indeed a name on the note. Imperia read it slowly, almost spitting out every letter.

"Gaedren Lamm."

Imperia smiled. Now that she had a name, she knew exactly what to do.

General Appearance:
Tall and elegant, charming and pleasant, Imperia is the epitome of the proper high class lady.
She sports long dark crimson hair, of which she is very proud, and loves to style in complicated but eye-catching styles.
Her features are sharp but very attractive, with thin arched eyebrows, long eyelashes, soft cheeks and full lips. Her most stunning aspect surely remains her eyes, large pools of a vibrant amethyst color that seem to sparkle under the right light.

Living Arrangements - Home:
After her graduation from the Acadamae, Imperia expressed to her family her wish to stay in Korvosa to help and take care of her younger sister Celia, on her way to be enrolled in the Acadamae herself.
Her parents agreed, and secured for her a place to live suitable for a lady of her station.

They rented a small but elegant apartment, in a well-maintained complex in the north-western side of the University Ward, one of the three wards part of The Heights District, the wealthy side of the city.
The one-bedroom apartment isn't large, but it's tastefully furnished and decorated, and doesn't lack anything Imperia would need to live comfortably. Even more importantly, at least in her parents' eyes, it's located in the safest part of town, and it's very close to the Acadamae itself.

Celia is Imperia's 10-year-old little sister. While studying at the Acadamae, her mother would frequently and regularly come to visit, often bringing little Celia with her.
Even with such a sporadic relationship, Imperia and Celia have grown to be very close. Celia idolizes her older sister, and wishes nothing more than follow in her footsteps and become a beautiful, refined young lady and a powerful, respected mage at the same time, just like she feels her sister has become.
For her part, Imperia sees in wide-eyed, vibrant Celia almost a young version of herself, before the hardships and loneliness of the time spent at the Acadamae poisoned her spirit.
With her family decision that Celia would enroll in the Acadamae as well, Imperia has sworn to herself her dear sister will NOT suffer what she did, because her older sister would be there for her, to help and protect her every step of the way.

Physically, Celia bears an uncanny resemblance to her sister Imperia, when she was herself a little girl. From her dark crimson hair and pale complexion, down to her extremely peculiar violet eyes, she's almost a perfect match to her older sister.
Still young and impressionable, Celia is exuberant, kind-hearted and a bit naive. Given time and a proper education, there is no doubt she'll grow into a proper, refined lady able to act even in the most insidious social context with elegance and grace.

Professor Ronilov Quinsworth, LN Venerable Human (Chelish)

Teacher of Calling Methodologies and Summoning Techniques at the Acadamae of Korvosa, old professor Quinsworth has been teaching students for as long as anyone can remember.
Usually grouchy and dismissive, the professor has taken an unusual liking to Imperia, and during her years at the Acadamae he took her under his wing, convinced the brilliant young girl was eventually destined to do great things.
Very grateful for his constant help and encouragement, Imperia considers the old professor one of her very few friends.
