I ignore the pompous elf, I am immune to most dangers fungi present and a handkerchief won't protect anyone form the ones that are truly dangerous.

Hwe-Ko bows and greets the newcomers. "Welcome to our band, I am pleased to met you". "I am Hwe-Ko monk of the Ninth Sun monastery, chosen by 'Mother' to represent her in this endeavor".

Male Half-Orc Monk 6

Hwe-Ko will remain quite during the feast unless promted to by the others. Afterwards he will do his kata before truning in for the night.

Male Half-Orc Monk 6

I agree, Namaste should speak for us.

Male Half-Orc Monk 6

Calmed by Namaste's words I bite back a sharp retort, center myself and bow to Llanoc "I apologize for letting my anger slip, I was wrong to imply your devotion to your familial duties makes you a prisoner and
do not fret for my safety I am unaffected by disease and blight both magical and mundane".

Replying to Astinos in Orc.

Spoiler:
You are correct but I never should have allowed him to break my calm it is a weakness that I can no longer afford.

Do not mock that which you know little of, my flesh is as strong as your steel and quicker than your arrows.
I truly know what I am, I feel the forces influencing me and can see all the paths before me. Can you see anything past your jealousy and pride? You are more of a prisoner and pawn than I.

Male Half-Orc Monk 6

Perhaps, but perhaps it you who are being to kind, Mother and Bafic-Graa have done great things, their footsteps have shaken our world but I....I am just a pawn. My birth was commanded because Mother wanted more might to spread her influence, my upbringing was brutal and harsh to weed out the unfit, I, was manipulated to train with the Boxers of Qinshu because mother wanted to know what secrets they held. My being here at this time and place was subtlety arranged by forces not of my own. Every orc child grows up this manner. The Temple of the Ninth Sun wants me to spread their teaching. Mother wishes all of her children to bring her more power. I am but a pawn disposable and common and I am bound by my ambition and pride to follow the path laid out before me, if I do wealth and renown will be mine. There nothing more common than a mans lust for wealth and power.
But perhaps your are just in your view of me for in my meditations I see another path leading to something gander and much more sublime. The path is hazy and elusive, my ki pulls me towards it but fear bars my way. I tell you now I fear not blade or spell, I would charge a dragon to test my skills but this hazy unknown paralyzes me. I will follow that path one day I will conquer the fear that holds me but until that day I am still just a pawn.

"As you wish my lady" provided that her chariot/horse dosn't go faster than 40' per round Hwe-Ko easily paces her. “I am as common as the rain that falls and the grass that grows. My birth mother is a human whore in one of “Mother’s” brothels. My early childhood was brutal, as you would expect a half-breed child among orc children would be, beaten for their amusement, forced by those stronger to take on their chores, scrubbing floors, cleaning chamber pots and any task they found foul. I soon learned to use my cunning and speed the orc children lacked and became the dominant one, by the age of 12 full orcs twice my age did my bidding and none but the Madam of the house commanded me. I thought I would take responsibility running the house, I was already protecting the girls working there and my influence was growing. I had enough influence to send my childhood tormentors on “missions for Mother” that would lead to their early graves. Mother saw a great potential in me and asked, not commanded but asked, if I would like to travel to China and learn the secrets of the Boxers. I jumped at the chance to leave the barbarity of home and left for Qinshu at dawn the next day. In the Boxers Temples I learned of harmony, grace and courtly skills. I was taught of the differences between the rule of the iron fist and the persuasion of the velvet glove, of how a polite word can win a war and the threat of violence prevent one from starting. They taught me their secret fighting styles, of how make my flesh as strong as steel, to hone my reflexes to point where I can pluck the wings off a fly wile it’s in flight. In a few years I had learned all I could teach me, earning my robes and title of priest of the Temple of the Ninth Sun. I must wander the world for ten years before I am allowed to return and pass what I have learnt on my travels to the Temple masters. I heard of the tribulations in this land and came to test my fist against the enemies’ steel my purity of body against their corruption and the wisdom of my masters against their primal chaos. I will not fail my masters, I will not fail my comrades, I will not fail Mother and I will not fail myself”.

Walk with me Hwe-Ko; this land is dull and lifeless; entertain me with stories of your growing up. Were you beat up much; tortured as a kid in the streets; perhaps given extra labors at your wrestling school? says the Jewel? I didnt have contact with anyone but teachers growing up; hmm; and slaves of course and other pets, I used to wonder what a completely ordinary person was like; your ordinary right?

Hwe-Ko bows to the lady before he turns to join the others leaving the groto and gives her a mischievous wink "Thank you for all you have given to our cause. Your words are as music drawing me near but the yapping of your pet", a brief head nod to Llvenoc, "brings me back to the ugliness of our world. I only hope that the fates conspire to bring me into your radiant company again".

*speaking aloud to all who wish to listen*

"Life feeds on life, but I don't wish to be plant food. Perhaps we should heed the witches words and leave with all haste".

she makes the sigil on your forehead; then moves on to bless thoronhen, his sigil seems more intricate than others.

<btw; read my earlier post about "common tounge" there is no language everyone speaks; common is a trade communication full of grunting and pointing; this for that; trade and parlay type stuff; no higher communication of inflection or even sentences is really possible; a conversation cannot be held in common, but you could use common to buy a sword or get it sharpened and agree on a fee; a very cumbersome set of gesturing and full of grunts of approval or dissagreement.>

then I would change common to Drow and make my last reply to the lady in Drowish.

Male Half-Orc Monk 6

My goal is harmony; my loyalty is to life.

Sex and magic are tools to be used as are fear and compassion, only a fool would deny their use.

I speak the language of my birth as well as goblin, lenapian and the common trade tongue (I assume Greek) but the tails of my youth should be kept for a less urgent time.

*after the orc's gumble and storm off*
I will accept your blessing on behalf of my less civil kin.

Male Half-Orc Monk 6

My intent is peaceful, I only seek knowledge. But I will focus my ki in case I need to deflect any bolts heading my way.

The Ork appears humble and sincere; perhaps reverant.

I am but a humble servant of fate, only my actions may answer your questions.
I wish to speak of the Celestial Emperor and his mortal counterpart. The Celestial Emperor is missing and the heavens are in turmoil and if the heavens fall all hope for the mortal realm will fade as well. If a clue can be found to whom and where the counterpart's can be found the chaos of this world can be diminished. Perhaps a great lady with many connections as you may be able to help in my search.

The Jewel looks you over hwe-ko; you feel a prickle on the surface of your brain...

She looks at you and uncomfortably long time; not moving; then her face softens a bit; in the eyes; and she comes to stand very very close to you, almost touching chests (and hers is nicely ample) you can smell her perfume and see that she has no fear.

she says in Ork "You are a curious conscript of fate, I know your family; very well I might add, my sister Akeiko is engaged to marry a power member of your family. I know him as well; better than most. What have you to offer me Child of the House of Graa? pain, misery? I see that you are well made; strong; viruolent, perhaps intelligent but that remains to be seen; do you have the heart of a dragon?

she sighs; glances at Llevenoc, then back to you "say what you will, there are few here who speak Ork"

Hwe-Ko follows the rest out of the glade only pausing to respectfully bow to the Oracle, saying a short psalm of thanks as does. "All blessings be yours my Lady, and to Sister Water, so useful, lowly, precious, and pure and Sister Earth, Who feeds us in her sovereignty and produces fruits and flowers and herbs for our needs".

Male Half-Orc Monk 6

Seeing Kemnebi's nod Hwe-Ko bows in response. "Greatings honored sir, center your ki and your the discomfort of the water will fade. Forgive my impudance but I had overheard your misgivings".

Male Half-Orc Monk 6

"I just arrived and now I must leave, the goddess of fate not wish me to rest". grumbles the plain clothed Half-Orc. Standing tall and broad shouldered like most of his breed but unlike them he wares no armor and carried no weapons but the greatest difference was his fastidious nature. His black hair braided into a long pony tail that almost reached the ground. His grey skin has a healthy glow that can only come frequent washing as did his orange robes.

Male Half-Orc Monk 6

Are you my daddy, if so I want 18 years of back child support.

Male Half-Orc Monk 6

So you're essentially telling me I can choose to be a son of a whore. If I wasn't playing a Half-Orc I might be insulted ;) Playing the son of a runaway whore of Balfic sounds good to me.
If this is for the region I came from I would like to have been trained in a chinaesque one.

Your pathetic rebellion is no match for a Death Star.

I'm not a wussy, I'm not. I'm gonna blow up a planet that can't fight back to prove that I'm not a wussy.
