About Howell Talbot III
Howell Backus Talbot III hails from a wealthy royal family that was elevated from the senatorial class nearly a century ago. The Talbots hold a large influence in the commerce and trade of Taldor, owning significant shares in the country’s most prominent trading companies. As a result, Howell has benefitted from the finest training and upbringing in Oppara. Despite this, Howell showed almost no interest in “the family business,” and found the life of royalty rather tedious. What Howell yearned for was action! Adventure! Danger!
On the advice of his family priest, Howell joined the ranks of the Church of Abadar, to serve as one of the Judge’s paladins. After rigorous training, he was given orders to travel to the church in Magnimar, and to serve justice to the frontiers of Varisia. It is here that Howell can be found, pursuing smugglers, embezzlers, thieves, murderers, and all manner of uncivilized folk…all the while investing in local businesses and commercial ventures.
