So I was wondering about the Acolytes usefulness for Seoni. While it's definitely useful early on when you may need help to recharge items with the magic trait, I was less sure about the ability to add 1d4 to your arcane or divine check. I was wondering if the 1d4 applies to combat checks that use your arcane or divine skill or whether it is only for arcane or divine checks to acquire items or disable barriers.

Just wanted to clarify that barriers count as banes. Therefore when a barrier is undefeated, it is shuffled back into the location deck for another character to encounter. Thanks in advance for the clarification.
