I'm sorry, I'm completely lost as to what we're currently doing in the pbp.

Perception while on the roof: 1d20+6=10

Holg climbs to the roof of the town hall while looking for potential threats.

Stealth: 1d20+4=9, Climb: 1d20+6=16, Perception: 1d20+6=10

"Why don't we leave the town hall to those who like to talk? Perhaps we can check the town's outskirts for a sign of goblins or other visitors that like to surprise in the night?"

How tall is Roland?

"Agreed. You take point." Holg readies his bow with an arrow nocked then takes up a position 10 ft behind Roland.

Stealth/Perception:1d20+4=13, 1d20+6=19

Holg makes his way toward the house with the overly fed boy all the while looking for more clues.

Perception:1d20+6=12
well, looks like Holg still won't find anything worth finding

When he gets over to the house Holg says, "Boy. Where can we find secure shelter, food and drink?"

Holg searches for clues as to how the building burnt.

Survival:1d20 6=10

I know you said you'd call for checks and such, but Holg would look for signs.

I think I'm done Ara. Let me know if you want/need anything more.

You can have all the gear you want as standard for your class (choose one melee/one ranged weapon, some armour and related gear) without calculating how much it costs.. So long as you can justify why you have it without reaching too far, it's all good.

Expand upon this please.
