Male Human (Nerathi) Illusionist Mage 17 / Arcane Wayfarer

"Well, it's certainly more succinct than 'my ancestors-thought-it-was-a-good-idea-at-the-time'."

Henry reminisces from the comfort of an overstuffed chair.

"I knew a Balian once, one Balian de Ibelin. Tragically his distraught wife committed suicide shortly after their child died during birth. Then he was provoked into allegedly killing the local priest in self-defence while being run out of town, and last I heard he sought atonement for his wife and himself in the Fourth Crusade alongside a ranger and a barbarian."

"All that said, does not excuse me from introducing myself as is expected under conditions of making someone's acquaintance. My name is Rothel Nelis, a Deva for this current incarnation, and a coercer of the spirits of the fallen to aid the living. Nice to meet you Henry Porter, it will be nice to have another practicioner of the benefits of an educational focus. I also greet you Shoso."

"Well met, Rothel Nelis. My alma mater was Gandalf Lundgren's School of Hard Knocks, so I hope you won't be disappointed that the benefits of my education are limited beyond anything besides a career in adventuring."

"Well it's a pleasure to meet you, Anri," the mage holds his hand out in greeting, "I am Henry Porter, licensed illusionist."

"Do you mind if I accompany you on your quest for 'enlightenment' and 'peace'?"

The mage, a human male in his twenties, eagerly explains,

"Yes, using the clues Mr Axebeard gave me, I scryed for both sea dogs and the loudest screams I could find. However the first place was actually showing the Torog Tabernacle Choir's rendition of H.M.S. Pinafore."

With a sudden realisation, the mage—in one swift motion—turns, draws an implement in each hand, and aims an orb at each of the shady mariners. Not skipping a beat, the thief draws his own crossbow and points it at the third departing sailor.

How much GP worth of rituals can I buy? And how much GP worth of ritual components do we have? I'm also taking suggestions on what rituals we need in addition to the essentials like Raise Dead and Remove Affliction.
