Boons:
Timelost Chronicler: +1 K (History). Once per Scenario may call on the nascent power granted by your exposure to the falling Starstone to find inner greatness, granting you a +1 morale bonus to a single d20 roll. Must declare your use of this power before the roll is made. Inside Knowledge: As a former member of the Aspis Consortium, Magali Delroya is well informed about the organization's activities, and she shares some of her information with you. You gain a +2 bonus on K (Local) checks about the Aspis Consortium and can make such checks untrained. You can cross this boon off the Chronicle sheet to take 20 on a single K (Local) check about the Aspis Consortium. Lord Avid’s Recommendation: Lord Avid is impressed that you managed to complete your mission without using his writ, and he speaks highly of your discretion. You gain a +2 circumstance bonus on all Charisma-based skill checks against nobility while on the Isle of Kortos. You can cross this boon off your Chronicle Sheet to lean heavily on your connection to Lord Avid. If you do so, the circumstance bonus on one such Charisma-based skill check increases to +4 and you can apply it while interacting with anyone on the Isle of Kortos. Explore, Report, Cooperate: You have an excellent sense of what makes an exemplary Pathfinder. As a free or immediate action, you may consider whether a particular action you name - such as subduing but not killing an enemy, befriending an NPC, or recovering a particular item - would help realize the goals of the Pathfinder Society. The GM then informs you whether the action’s impact would be positive (contributes to meeting a secondary success condition for the scenario), negative (opposes the secondary success conditions), or negligible (neither contributes to nor opposes the secondary success condition). If none of the three options accurately reflects the action’s impact on the PC’s fulfillment of the secondary success conditions, the GM may respond with a phrase of five words or less. Once you use this boon, cross it off your Chronicle Sheet. Owlbear Companion: You recovered a clutch of owlbear eggs and may raise one of the hatchlings as a pet. If you possess a class feature that permits you to take a bear as an animal companion or mount that progresses as an animal companion, you may instead gain the service of an owlbear. The owlbear companion uses the stats of a bear companion with the following modifications: all Handle Animal checks made to train or handle the owlbear suffer a –4 penalty; the bonus granted by the devotion ability increases to +5; the creature’s starting Charisma score is 10; and the animal companion looks like an owlbear instead of a normal bear. This owlbear is considered an animal for all purposes. Squealy Mnarrrr!: The power of the Birdcruncher tribe empowers its unofficial totem beasts: the owlbear and the pig. If you possess a class feature that permits you to take a boar as an animal companion, that boar can channel Squealy Nord’s ferocity; the boar’s starting Charisma score is 10, and it deals an additional 1d6 damage when it makes a charge attack. If you are instead able to gain an owlbear as an animal companion, the penalty on Handle Animal checks made to handle the owlbear companion decreases by 2 (minimum 0), and the owlbeak gains a +1 bonus on combat maneuver checks made to grapple. Kaboom! Kablam!: You’re constantly finding new and deadly way to employ fireworks. You can cross this boon off your Chronicle sheet when lighting a non-magical firework in order to double the damage it deals and increase the DC of any saving throws made against its effects by 2. You Be Goblin!: You have a special insight into the distractible and sadistic mind of a goblin. You gain a +2 bonus on all Bluff, Diplomacy, Intimidate, and Sense Motive checks made against golins. You Really Be Goblin: As a free action, gain the benefits of one of the following race traits for 1 round. When you use the trait, you may also permanently replace on of your existing traits with the new race trait, following all the normal rules for selecting traits. Advantageous Distractions, Bouncy, Goblin Bravery You Be Goblin Chief: You have spent so much time studying goblins that you fancy you could be their chief if you set your mind to it. Of course, all great goblins chiefs are masters of the goblin games. As a free action, you can gain one of the benefits below for 3 rounds. When you use this boon, cross it off your Chronicle sheet. The Great Goblin King: One violent turn deserves another. Before you make an attack against a creature that damaged you since the end of your last turn, you can attempt a DC 15 Perform (act, comedy, oratory, or sing) check as a free action. If you succeed, you gain a +2 morale bonus on attack rolls and weapon damage rolls against that creature until the beginning of your next turn. Goblin Dog Sprint: You’re an adept runner of obstacle courses. You gain a +2 bonus on all checks made to overcome obstacles during a chase (Pathfinder RPG Gamemastery Guide 232) as though your speed were 10 feet faster. Burn the Dogs!: Burn the Horses!: Nothing burns hotter than the fires you start. When you set a creature on fire with a spell, alchemical weapon, or other effect, the ongoing fire damage dealt if the creature catches on fire is increased by 1d6 during the first round it burns. Killgull: You are especially adept at knocking flying creatures out of the air. Your first attack each round deals an additional 1d6 damage against an airborne target, and the creature suffers a –5 penalty on Fly checks until the beginning of your next turn. The Favor of Cartahegn: While in a settlement of 5,000 people or more anywhere on the continent of Garund, you may purchase mundane equipment (but no weapons or armor) through your favorable connections with House Carahegn at a 10% discount. Ragdya’s Blessing: Due to the respect you showed to the Vudran god Ragdya’s sacred animal, you have received that deity’s blessing. You may cross this boon off your Chronicle sheet to gain a climb speed of 20 feet for 1d4 rounds. For 1 round after this boon expires, if you would fall due to failing a climb check, you fall slowly as if affected by feather fall (CL 1st) so long as you remain adjacent to a wall or other solid surface Field Comissioned Kobold: Level 4 Kobold Pregen playable → Varanog Trapmaker: Can make a special trap once Draconic Sidekick: You returned several stolen pseudodragon eggs to their clutch. Now, thepseudodragons of the Frisky Unicorn have selected you as the traveling companion and mentor for one of their hatchlings. The young pseudodragon has not yet chosen her name, and she allows you to help her decide. As long as you do not mistreat your new ally and your alignment does not become evilat any time, she agrees to travel with you. You may use this boon in one of two ways. First, you may take a pseudodragon (Pathfinder RPG Bestiary 229) as a familiar with the Improved Familiar feat as long as you are a spellcaster of at least 5th level (rather than 7th). This pseudodragon’s sting counts as silver for the purposes of bypassing damage reduction. Alternatively. you may cross this boon off your chronicle sheet to gain a pseudodragon that follows you loyally for one adventure. Its sting also bypasses DR/silver, as the pseudodragon familiar. This pseudodragon allows you to bypass the normal limit of one combat creature per player per scenario. Fortune’s Return: Despite the ill omens of the Yellow Prophet, you saved Lady Qualstair from assassination and prevented unfortunate accidents from carrying deadly consequences. You gain up to four of the six abilities below (your GM will tell you if you did not earn all four). Cross off the ones you do not choose. You may activate an ability that you did not cross off by checking off the box next to it. Doing so grants you a +1 luck bonus on an attack roll, saving throw, skill check, or ability check associated with the corresponding ability score. Apply the bonus before you roll. The bonus increases to +2 if you use if for the specific use listed below. The Suit of Hammers (Strength): Sundering or otherwise breaking an object
