About Harsis Vaoru
Harsis was born in Osirion to a very small, new, and poor family of 1. An absent father made some creative money making necessary when his mother became ill and needed medicine. The small frame of youth combined with a naturally keen intellect lent themselves to the profession of 'unsanctioned artifact recovery' via the tombs of the land. While a few jobs and sales provided the capital for medicine, it proved ultimately futile, leaving the child essentially alone.
Fortunately, the newly orphaned youth was recognized as having potential by a past buyer and was hired for translation work and eventually to assist as an apprentice to the conjuror. At the end of the apprenticeship, the young man had the funds and capabilities to begin to seek out knowledge and quench his bottomless thirst. To that end, Harsis sailed to Absalom, the city at the center of the world, and joined the pathfinder society in the hopes that the jobs and connections made there would aid that quest.
