About Harner Tsigror
Harner is a handsome male human in his mid twenties. He has long, flowing black hair which he keeps tied in a ponytail which flows down the entirety of his back. His features are usually set in a friendly, if somewhat mischievous-looking, smile, and his watery green eyes sparkle with enthusiasm. He wears finely crafted scale mail emblazoned with a rose symbol in the front, and carries a tall glaive the blade of which is marked with the symbol of Shelyn which glows with a slight color-shifting iridescence.
Harner was born in Riddleport to a local priestess of Shelyn (mother) and a Pathfinder agent (father) who retired shortly after he was born to settle down in the city and help raise his son. Harner's childhood was as idyllic as it could be in a port city full of vice. Harner's mother, Absola, raised him in the faith of Shelyn and impressed upon him the importance of love and the power of beauty. His father, Harring, taught him a little of survival and instilled in him a love of adventure and travel through his stories of his time with the Pathfinders. When Harner came of age, he 'ran away' with a traveling circus, with the full backing of his parents who wanted him to see more of the world. He saw many sights during his time with the circus, and met many people. Billed as the “Troubadour of Shelyn” he often would be hired by young couples to sing at romantic gatherings. He enjoyed secretly working towards helping those who seemed to be truly in love, and sabotaging those who were only after superficial things. Eventually, the circus life began to feel as if there were no true purpose behind the endless performances, and so Harner left when they were on the Isle of Kortos and headed for Absalom. There he presented himself to the Pathfinders, and even showed his father's old wayfinder which he had been given, to 'prove his credentials.' After undertaking the three year course to train him for field work, Harner now serves the Pathfinders as a capable field agent.
Harner is a bit of a free spirit who sees the best in all he meets, until otherwise is proven. He enjoys friendly conversation, and tends to be a bit 'over the top' when he talks to people, as if he is gearing up for a performance. He never tires of preaching the joys of Shelyn and encouraging others to seek the contentment that a loving relationship brings or find joy in the beauty which he sees in everything around him. Protecting and healing those whom he calls friend and ally are paramount to him, and he is a grim foe to those who make it their purpose to destroy love or beauty.
