About Harala Jaydilee
Jaydilee grew up in a family of sorcerers in Dtang Ma with moderate political sway, who waited for years to see what sort of magical talent she would have. She had none. She was strong and fast and tough, but not good with sorcery. Her siblings were always casting spells of flight while she had to go by foot, so she decided enough was enough. She'd no longer live beneath the rest of her family. She would study every martial text she could find until she learned how to fly with pure power!
Of course, everyone laughed. Except, interestingly, the family's tengu maid, who took Jaydilee and told her many stories of her youth, rushing across the sky with nothing but determination and speed to fuel her. She gave Jaydilee an old book passed down by the tengu for many years, and then told her to find her own way across the skies.
Now, having traveled the world with parkour (and a fair number of boats), Jaydilee has found the city at the center of the world. Absalom: the courser's dream. After rushing across rooftops, she stepped on the wrong one, falling into an Aspis trap. Rescued by pathfinders, she is now prepared to do everything she can to succeed.
