History: Handor grew up living in and around Lionsguard near the southern border of Taldor. Though his father was a miner, Handor was always more interested in the ways of the warrior and the stories of Taldor knights of old. Running away when he was fourteen, Handor traveled to south to Qadira where he was captured and pressed into the service of a local lord's militia. Although much of his time was spent working in the stables of the local Qadira forces, he managed to pick up some skill both handling weapons and horses. It was with this skill that Handor managed to escape from his less than heroic life in Qadira and made his way back to Taldor and eventually to Absalom where he found renewed faith in the life of warrior that he grew up believing would be his future.
