Grustav has never had the benefit of friends won easily. Discarded as a child to find his way in Ravengro, Grustav quickly understood that he would have to force his will upon others to get the most out of life. Grustav put his natural talents to work as an enforcer for the Sczarni, and was ruthlessly efficient in acquiring information by any means necessary. By chance, Grustav required information from a certain source, and when he came upon them, they were themselves accosting Professor Lorrimor. While his target was distracted, Grustav snuck up and rendered him unconscious. Professor Lorrimor gave tremendous thanks, which meant little to Grustav, and he had forgotten the promised consideration until a courier arrived with the notification of the funeral. Initially perturbed that the courier had even found him, Grustav recalled the encounter with the Professor, and plans to attend the funeral to receive his reward.
