Backstory- Born in Belkzen, Gruhk was the runt of the litter. Throughout his youth he stayed small and scrawny, and as a result was taunted and beaten by his peers every chance they got. Because of this torment, Gruhk was often alone. In his solitude he started to hear the voices of the spirits. They told him to go to the sea to find his true power.
After years of being beaten on, Gruhk had enough. One night, under cover of the new moon, he ran away. No more than 13 years old, he was all alone, and had to rely on his instincts and the guidance of the voices. Scrounging together what he could find, he traveled more than five years until he finally made it to the shackles.
Here the spirits told him, his quest would start, once he'd thrown of the shackles that bound him. Believing the spirits meant his old allegiances, he sought out a wizard who would remove his tattoos. As he could not pay the wizard what was requested, he agreed to work for her as manservant for six months. Her name is Aleana Thomas, and she worked him to the bone. But being in her service was not without reward, and she and Gruhk formed a strong relationship.
Yesterday he went drinking in a port peril tavern called the formidably maid. After which he went out to commune with the spirits of the sea. The last thing he remembered was a sharp blow to the head, and everything going black.
Appearance- Gruhk is a memorable appearance. Standing 6 foot 8, he is taller than most Orcs or half orcs, but much less muscular and burly. He lacks the ritual tattoos of other orcs, as he had them removed to signify his rebirth as a seeker. He usually dresses in a pair of trousers that reach down to just above the knee.
Motivation- Gruhk left his home to find the power he was promised. Being shanghaied is only a minor setback on this journey. Or who knows, perhaps this was part of the plan laid out for him.
Favourite Colour- Teal
Favourite Meal- Anything containing ample meat, especially if it is boar meat. After his time in the wilds, Gruhk is not picky.
