Here my level 1 Kobold Huntsmaster Cavalier with a dire weasel companion. The overall goal of the character was to have the kobold be the alpha leader of a weasel pack. The kobold was for a Kingmaker game that didn't last very long.

It's based on 25pt buy so I'll be happy to tweak him as needed. Also, the weasel companion is a re-skinned wolf AC, again, I can change that on request.

Well, it's been almost 2 months without any in-game activity and 1 month without communication from the GM. I'm assuming the game is dead and I am officially dropping out. I had fun while it lasted and good luck to every kobold if the game does pick up and go on. Thanks!

It's been almost a week since the last post. Is there any new information about this game and whether or not it is still going?

Ok. Cool. I was wondering what was going on. Did you get my email Elix?

I'm getting authorization problems when I try to log in to the game. Any ideas why?

I had some trouble getting on with older versions of Internet Explorer. It worked in Firefox for me. Try that maybe?

I've updated my character tokens. I used red for HP and green for AC. Do you want any other stats posted?

On my turn:
Gritt Move - Acrobatics to flank closest Farmer: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Grime Movie - Moves into flank with Gritt

Gritt Attack - Spear: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Grime Attack - Bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24 Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Animal companions act on their master's turn, I assume?

"See. Pitchforks. It's all your fault." Gritt yells at Grime. The weasel's pitiful look deepens as it begins to whine. If weasels could make a sad puppy dog look, this would be it.

"Oh Shut up. Prove yourself and charge. Protect the tribe. I'll cover you. Fight to the bitter end for the tribe!"

On their turn, Grit and Grime team up to attack whichever farmer chooses them as a target. Gritt will use acrobatics to get into a flanking position.

Unfortunately, if this game ends up doing live combat, I will have to drop out. There are just too many things going on right now where I don't know when I can spare some time to play a live combat

Gritt hears the shouts and groans. He looks accusingly over at Grime, "I told you to be quiet!" The weasel stops digging in the mud and gives a pitiful look to his master as radishes hang from his large canines.

"No, don't look at me like that. Drop those radishes." Gritt continues, "Get ready to fight. This is going be a battle!"

Logged In. Drew a shape testing out the system...not sure how to get rid of it.

Also, will combats be live?

"Are we done here?" Gritt says as he noisily comes out from the undergrowth, not bothering to sneak about. He clearly wasn't going to get the surprise attack he had been hoping for. "If the scaleless here has no other information we should be on our way. The night grows long and we must complete our task before dusk or we lose the advantage."

Gritt sits atop his mighty weasel companion Grime and looks from Dazak to Krezlak, then back to Dazak. He thinks of saying something, but he shrugs his shoulders, dismounts, and begins sneaking into the woods as he mumbles, "Just let me know when to begin ripping apart scaleless."

I changed my AC's feat from Combat Reflexes to SF (Stealth). I'm trying to avoid feats that require standard game board tactics.

Gritt Stealth: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16
Grime Stealth: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12

I'm all set.

"Dazak makes a good plan. I hope for conflict. One more dead scaleless is one less that can kill us or steal from us again."

"No! The weasels and kobolds need to rest from the attack on our home. We wait. Rest. Then move. Get there when night is darkest so sun-walkers are weak and unaware." Gritt says as he puffs out his scaled chest and glares challengingly at Ixen.

P.S. I've decided to RP my character like Grimlock from the G1 Transformers comic - strong but stupid; a good mind for battle tactics but VERY confrontational. I'm not purposely trying to push everyone around so feel free to put Gritt in his place. A little kobold bickering should be fun :)

"Talk!?", Gritt screeches in frustration, "We need to sneak attack. Revenge. At night. Someone lead this band of Kobolds to the radishes so we can hit the scaleless where it hurts!"

Hmm...your right. I checked a few days ago and we weren't. Maybe we need to post before we are added to the game?

"Talking and writing...what is writing anyways?...BAH...I never needed those things in the weasel pits" The largest kobold in the room thinks to himself. When he finally speaks his words are accented by clicks and trills of unpracticed, reptilian vocal chords "You want radishes? I'll get you radishes. Give my dire weasels one radish to scent and they will bring you back 100! Give them 100 radishes to scent..." The kobold pauses to contemplate the math "...and they will find you even more radishes." The kobold smiles confidently,"So, I will go on this mission."

@ GM - Can we be added to the campaign so we an get updates please?

Dazak- the improved familiar feet will eventually get you a pseudo or fairie dragon.

Finally added a background. My character is complete. I may still switch the feat for my AC, depending on the final party makeup.

nudge for my character alignment question...

GM Ellix - what are the approved character alignments for the campaign?

And, are the Sootscales typically "black dragon" kobolds, or, are they of any color?

@GM Ellix - how should we do HP for our Animal Companions, mounts, eidolons, trustworthy followers, minion hordes, meat shields, nameless peasants, etc. etc. etc.

Completed the crunch on Gritt and Grime. Also finished the equipment section. But, waiting to hear back from GM Elix on the weasel to complete the background.

How about a kobold druid who rides a T-Rex into battle? The best way to protect your lands is to convince everyone else that they're inhabited by crazy little badasses!

That sounds fun!

I saw a giant weasel animal companion on the d20pfsrd, you might check there.

Good catch Marco! Thanks.

The Huntmaster archetype specifically says "he can choose either bird or dog as his animal companion." So, I'm fine with a re-fluff rather than a change in the rules. Just to make things easy:

Dog AC:

Size Small; Speed 40 ft.; AC +2 natural armor; Attack bite (1d4); Ability Scores Str 13, Dex 17, Con 15, Int 2, Wis 12, Cha 6; Special Qualities low-light vision, scent.

4th-Level Advancement
Size Medium; Attack bite (1d6); Ability Scores Str +4, Dex –2, Con +2.

Giant Weasel AC:

Size Small; Speed 30 ft., climb 10 ft.; AC +1 natural armor; Attack bite (1d4); Ability Scores Str 10, Dex 19, Con 13, Int 2, Wis 12, Cha 10; Special Attacks blood drain (1 Con), grab; SQ low-light vision, scent.

4th-Level Advancement
Size Medium; Attack bite (1d6); Ability Scores Str +4, Dex –2, Con +2.

Gritt the Large and his animal companion Grime reporting in. I will work on a background today.

@GM - Can I refluff the Huntmaster's dog AC to a dire weasel? In 3.x Dire weasels were often used by kobold Rangers and druids. Or is there some PF dire weasel equivalent for kobolds?

Here is LibraryRPGamer's submission - Gritt the Large - Kobold Huntmaster Cavalier- he's mean, but his dog is meaner.

The basic crunch is done but I need to flesh out a background and choose equipment.

@ GM - What's our starting gold? And, are there any online resources that we can read to find out more about Clan Sootscale?
