I wouldn't call it a failed experiment, I would just say that this group didn't mesh that well...there was definite potential, Thanks for letting me into your world, if only for a short while. (losing people early doesn't help, but hey RL happens.)
Thanks Steve.
as Greythorne turns to speak, the edge gives way, and Greythorne tumbles into the shaft
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh"
Well, where shall we go?
Elsebeth stand guard...heh, that should work
I have a feeling this PbP is gonna die, I check it daily, but there have only been a few posts in the last WEEK...
"Perhaps we should go down...greater evils lie below..."
Greythorne kneels next to the shaft and listens.

"Don't s'pose ye found a map in that office didja?"
do we have a lantern?
"Then lead away oh divine one" Greythorne says as he stands to follow, drawing his weapon...
"Exactly!" Greythorne rumbles, "Now don't distrub me again!"
Greythorne looks up from the ground he was investigating, and steps toward Cyph, looming over her
"Do you see any tracks?"

As the rain continues to fall, a thin trickle of muddy water runs down the slightly sloped tunnel into the hillside. You can't hear anything, nor see very far into the darkness, although you can see the passage turns slightly as it descends.
edited for Greythorne, not Werdred
Greythorne watches the tumbleweeds blow by...as the dust settles in the little valley
Greythorne tears the coin-pouches off the guards, then checks the weapons for servicibility, swinging them, cleaning them up while he says "Something scared these guards before they died..."
Greythorne inspects the area for tracks, and looks for signs of aberrant creatures.

Call for the others. "Hoi! Two guards over here, dead at least 2 days."

Yep, the barbarian has heal, gotta make sure my slaves are fit.
"Damnable muck, I can't detect a fallen horse in all this mud"
Greythorne will cautiously approach the mine entrance and check for anything of interest there...
"What do you think Werdred?"
had to get post in here for Monday...
Greythone bends to examine the ground while Werdred is calling for Peron
Greythorne is constantly on the lookout for escaped slaves who might prey upon those leaving the city...

"Citizen Greythorne, may your clan prosper," he smiles. "There's not a lot to inspect out there, citizen. Still, you may run across the odd desperate group of bandits or escaped slaves. Cut one down for me if you do, won't you?" "Hah! I'll even try to bring them back if they run into me..." As he shakes the manacles at his belt.

"I think I can handle things without my slaves for a week, and perhaps I'll bring some extras home" he states with a roar of laughter! his booming laugh echoing through the room...
(He is 6'8" afterall...
"Salutations [insert title here] Dellish."
What's the proper title for him?
Head to meet with Dellish.
Greythorne is ready..
I paid for both sides of my spiked chain to be MW, that's correct? or do you only need to pay once for the chain? but have to enchant each side separately?

Sorry, I missed this question it seems. He does need to have at least one rank of barbarian, however he can multiclass if you like (such a thing marks you as different - perhaps more useful to your superiors, but you would lose some respect amongst your peers). How does the background I posted up above sound?

Greythorne is getting closer...
Decided to go with a Heavy Flail, since it can be used to trip and disarm...And Greythorne is a bit of a sadist in that he enjoys capturing enemies int he most painful way possible, sometimes by grappling in his spiked armor or beating them down with his spiked gauntlets...he really likes when his opponents flee and he can hit them with bolas...yeah, he's a bit of a bastich...
OK I had miss posted in another thread...OK so will a Earth Breaker be ok for a weapon?
Are traits in?
Starting...
Earthshaker OK?
I'm thinking of either going with the Earthshaker or Two-Weapon Fighting...
