Barbara the Barbarian shouts, "Come and Get Me!" She has combat reflexes and Paired Opportunist.
Rog the Rogue is standing next to her, knives out. He has combat reflexes, paired opportunist, and the opportunist rogue talent.

Brad the Bad Guy is kind of an idiot, so he attacks Barbara.

1) Boom! Come and Get me! triggers, so Barbara gets an Attack of Opportunity. She hits!
2) Boom! Rog's Opportunist and Paired Opportunist both trigger. Rog takes his own attack of opportunity, based off of his Opportunist talent.

Now what?
3) Does Barbara another attack of opportunity based off of Rog's Opportunist attack of opportunity, given her Paired Opportunist feat?
If she does,
4) Does Rog get another attack of opportunity based off of Barbara's Paired Opportunist feat, given her Paired Opportunist feat?

I'm tempted to say yes to 3, and no to 4, but I'm not sure.

Here is the relevant nonsense:

While raging, as a free action the barbarian may leave herself open to attack while preparing devastating counterattacks. Enemies gain a +4 bonus on attack and damage rolls against the barbarian until the beginning of her next turn, but every attack against the barbarian provokes an attack of opportunity from her, which is resolved prior to resolving each enemy attack.

Benefit: The rogue can make an attack of opportunity against an opponent who has just been struck for damage in melee by another character. This attack counts as an attack of opportunity for that round and can't be used more than once per round.

Benefit: Whenever you are adjacent to an ally who also has this feat, you receive a +4 circumstance bonus on attacks of opportunity against creatures that you both threaten. Enemies that provoke attacks of opportunity from your ally also provoke attacks of opportunity from you so long as you threaten them (even if the situation or an ability would normally deny you the attack of opportunity). This does not allow you to take more than one attack of opportunity against a creature for a given action.

It's the last line of "Paired Opportunists" that gives me pause. What counts as a given action--does each attack of opportunity count as a separate action?

I'd like to introduce Bob. Bob is a 12th-level bloodrager with a few relevant feats: power attack, cornugon smash, and signature skill: intimidate. He has, oh, let's say a +24 to intimidate checks.

I'd like to introduce John. John is a 12th-level human with a wisdom of 10.

Bob and John don't like each other.

Bob whacks John upside the head. Power attack! Hit! Free intimidate check! He has to hit a 22 on his demoralize check. He rolls a 10, getting 34 on his check, enough to make John shaken.

Unchained intimidate says he can panic John instead. The will save for John to avoid panic should be 22.

So here's my question: DOES JOHN TAKE -2 ON THIS SAVE FROM BEING SHAKEN?

The argument for: unchained intimidate says, "A Will save (DC = 10 + your number of ranks in Intimidate) negates the frightened or panicked condition, but the target is still shaken, even if it has the stalwart ability." Note that even if panic is negated, the target is still shaken, implying that they're shaken whether or not the panic works. Maybe they're shaken when they're trying to fight off the panic.

The argument against: that's very clunky, and it's not explicitly called out by the rules. If there were going to be a penalty on the save, why not incorporate it directly into the save to begin with, making the save 12+ranks in intimidate?

I'm leaning toward thinking there's no penalty on this save, but am curious what others think.
