Description Godwin is an attractive blond man with a goatee and scar across his left cheek. He's slim and tall and wears several daggers around his person. He's usually laughing and has a tattoo of a broken chain on his left forearm, a symbol of his hatred for slavery.
Background Godwin grew up in Almas, the son of a sometime whore and barmaid named Reanna. All his life his mother, who was quite beautiful, swore that Cayden Cailean was his father, concieved when the god visited Almas in person. Godwin believed this, hook, line and sinker, despite being beaten by the local bullies for saying so. Still, he grew into a handsome man and aspired to join the Eagle Knights, at least until he was caught practicing his lock-picking skills on a merchant's money-box. He fled justice and set sail on the first ship he could find, which happened to be headed to Absalom...
