Will this be receiving Pathfinder Society credit?

These look sweet! Any chance of getting a Gunslinger style class in the future? Maybe something more space cowboy esque?

Are you asking about volunteering for the general PFS events (morning and evening), or the afternoon open gaming slot?

For the former, I would expect an announcement late December/early January. I think this is when the calls went out for 2018.

For the latter, expect something a bit closer to the actual convention dates. For the Friday afternoon slot maybe late March or so. Maybe I can get Silbeg or Kapperson to chime in on when this might happen. Unless I'm the only 10,000 Lakes Gaming Minnesotan coming. Then I will make an announcement when we have an idea of table counts and needs.

Thanks! I was referring to the events sign up. I tried last year but didnt realize I tried so late, so I'm trying to get a jump on it now.

Hey folks,

So 2018 Piazocon was a blast! I just wanted to see when they usually start recruiting GM's for the next Paizocon? I want to add my talents to this awesome con!

If you’re using HeroLab, I think you should be able to print your characters to a PDF, save that PDF to the cloud, then use the hotel’s printers to generate the hard copy from those PDFs. In years past, Lone Wolf has had a presence at PaizoCon with several HeroLab workstations. I’ve never used them nor know how they’re configured, but it may be possible to save your HeroLab character file to a thumb drive, take it to one of those computers, and print it from there.

Interesting, i had no idea this was a thing, I'll bear that in mind, Im still getting the printer just for the back up XD

Thanks for all the suggestions folks! After much deliberation, my lady and I are considering getting a portable printer and just work on our characters in our room and then either print them in or say "F**k it" and transcribe everything the old school way, I dont mind doing this since this is how i enjoy doing it and I think it would be the easiest method.

So this is my first Paizocon and Im sorry if this is a goober question, my Wife and I have become very dependant on Herolab and the awesome features it offers so we were considering bringing our laptops, we just wanted to know if there will be space for our stuff at the table or if its a no-no.

Thanks!

Seconding Eazy-Earl, you should be fine for regular SFS games. The lottery games are special events, but there are tons of regular Organized Play tables open after the lottery closes.

So Just to confirm, the sign ups drop usually a month before hand (So Around end of April 2018 in this case?)

So I'm buying more than one ticket, one for me and one for my lady. Since this Con is pretty much all my idea (Lady is a huge Pathfinder and Starfinder fan but doesnt have an organizational bone in her body) I have to sign us both up. Is there a specific way to sign more than one person up?

SO EXCITED ITS MY FIRST PAIZO CON!!

So, seeing as Paizo released audio book versions of their books, can we show them and get credit in society for them as well?

Its interesting, I had a group of players that would go out of their way to argue with me, saying that evil is "part of their real life personalities, and if I didn't let them play evil characters, I was a bad GM." Quickly told them off, that if they don't like it, I'll find new people to replace them. That changed their tune real quick, sometimes the player or the GM need to take a heavy step to settle down the group. For your problem, I would talk to the GM, explain that you're not having fun and formulate a solution with him.

If the GM doesnt step up, I would take everyone else's advice and find a new group.
