Background:

Gideon was born into a mercantile family and was sailing before he could walk. His father, Zachariah, captained the river boat "Tomorrow" to ensure delivery and to make trade deals upon arrival. However, he was very devoted to his family so he took them with him. He was successful in most of his ventures and so he hired a small team of Marines to help guard the ship and his family if necessary.

Gideon was a curious boy throughout his childhood and teenage years. He spent time learning to sail, working with the ship’s surgeon, and training with the Marines. After several years working the Sellen River with his father they eventually made port at Belhaim. While at a tavern, Gideon heard of the history of area and decided he wanted to learn more. When his father was ready to sail back down to the Sellen, Gideon stayed behind to enjoy the quaint little town for a bit.

3. What would somebody see at first glance (i.e. height, weight, skin color, eye color, hair color, physique, race, and visible equipment)? Gideon is a broad shouldered man standing just over five and a half feet tall (5’8”). His hair is a reddish-brown with tanned skin and penetrating green eyes.
4. What additional attributes would be noticed upon meeting the character (i.e. Speech, mannerisms)? Brash and speaks his mind
5. Where was your character born? Where were you raised? By who? Born in Cassomir but raised aboard ship. Raised by his parents Zachariah and Elizabeth
6. Who are your parents? Are they alive? What do they do for a living? Zachariah and Elizabeth who were alive when he left. Zachariah is a ship board merchant.
7. Do you have any other family or friends? None known.
8. What is your character’s marital status? Kids? Not married, no children
9. What is your character’s alignment? Neutral Good, the law is good to protect people and planning is useful.
10. What is your character’s moral code? Basic chivalry combined with the golden rule

12. Is your character religious? No, not really. He believes there is a creator but he has no developed details on who that is.
