Ghiv smiles. "This could be fun! Do we have any maages on board?" Ghiv's mind starts kicking into overdrive to find some advantage in this next encounter.
Ghiv looks around to everyone. "I am okay with taking the faster route. Now that they know where we are it doesn't matter. It seems speed is our course... What say the rest of you?"
Ghiv nods at Iolana and Gatherine. "Okay, but be careful... and good luck." He looks to everyone on deck. "Is there anyone here that can detect if there is any magic layed on that boat or its occupants? If so, do it." He then turns to those who are staying. "Be prepared for anything..." He looks pensive for a moment. "Including a fight. Those that can use bolts or arrows get them and have them readied for firing. Everyone else prepare the ship to go after Iolana and Gatherine if need be. Now move!" Ghiv takes up his position by the wheel and patiently waits keeping his eyes peeled for danger.
Ghiv understands Gatherine's motivation to go over there but shakes his head. "We cannot put the ship at risk, what if it is a trap and that boat is rigged to go off the minute someone steps to it? No. We can set two people to row out to the boat. We cannot endanger the limited crew we have." He looks around. "Who will go?"
Ghiv is up early and already on the deck taking in the salty air and beautiful sunrise. Once everyone is roused he starts his day. He follows Iolana and starts his first day as captain.
Rerolls for 1 & 5
Ghiv takes to being a captain like a fish to water. "It is a beautiful day and we have the whole ocean ahead of us!" He looks to Iolana "Thank you for the tips and the chance."
"Let's set sail. Greenblood it is." Ghiv responds as he comes back from his room.
Ghiv looks at all the rooms. "Well I guess I'll take the Captain's cabin unless Iolana requires it." He smiles at her and starts to head for room to check out the inside.
Ghiv smiles. "That sounds fantastic. Lead the way Eubel."
Ghiv talks, lies and flirts with anyone he deems worthy to sail on a ship.
Ghiv looks to Du'Bing and then to Gatherine. "I may not be able to show you my skill ahead of time, but I will show you one the open seas. I wont let you down." He bows low to them again. "This should be fun...A ship to captain." A genuine smile spreads across his face. He hands the Halfling woman over to the harbormaster for safe keeping. "I would get what you can out of this one."
The briefest flash of annoyance crosses his face but his recovery is flawless, his smile and ease of manner back in position. He sweeps his hat off and bows low to the lady. "My apologize Ms. Zerengo, I have forgotten to introduce myself. My name his Ghiv and you are correct, although I have never been a captain I have been sailing for many years. It has always been my dream to captain a ship of my own."
"This little side endeavor has interested me and I would like to see what is at the end of the proverbial rainbow if you catch my drift."
Damn that bluff could have gone better... lol
"Did she say captain?" He smiles widely and approaches Iolana. "Looking for a captain?" He brushes his tricorn hat off and then places it on his head, feather sticking out of it. "I have experience in that department."
BS'ing It All The Way:
Although Ghiv has experience on numerous ships as a sailor/pirate he has never been a captain.
He stops a few feet away from Iolana, Halfling strung up and being dragged behind him. He takes up a posture of pure confidence and authority.
Ghiv will tie up the female halfing before she is healed, if she was not healed he will tie her up and heal check her so she stops bleeding out. If she is dead dead, than he does not bother. Heal Check If Needed:
Ghiv stands to the side of it all and accepts his money. "Maybe I will help out more often." He looks at the pouch of pp.
Haha... Swordfish lol. I did not know where the two animal companions ended up. I thought/hope they went for the halfling if not Ghiv did't do much damage to her. Happy belated birthday e-terah! I just turned 31 on the 1st. Go March birthdays.
Ghiv still booking it charges the halfing and slides toward her plunging his rapier at her back.
If Hit:
If Ghiv is flanking because of gorilla and/or raptor:
"Oh no you don't!" Ghiv follows on the Halfling's heels.
If Attack Hits:
After his swing against the little Halfling Ghiv sees the bomb being thrown and dives to the side to try and avoid the explosion.
He comes up safely from his roll and follows the assailant making a two thrust attack with rapier and dagger.
If Rapier Hits:

"What the hell is that mark?"Ghiv contemplates to himself.
Ghiv's lightning reflexes saves his skinny blue butt. He skips back a step to avoid the blast. He successfully avoids the entire matter, a smile creeping across his face. "Ha! Halfling in glue. This should be fun."
Ghiv notices the bag in the halfling's hand and attempts the flick his rapier to see if he can get her to let it go. With a flourish and an upward flick he attacks.
Ghiv sees the three cloaked figures. Hmm... These guys don't look like good guys. He smiles in the darkness. Ghiv moves silently but quickly 20' to the man north of him. Rapier in hand he thrusts forward as he moves in one fluid motion.
If attack is successful:
Gatherine's shout distracts Ghiv right before his attack. Thinking there was another assailant he did not see he looses track of his opponent for a split second and misses the cloaked figure completely. He sighs at is own stupidity.
Ghiv realizes that everyone will be moving the way of the sailor and decides that as always stealth is the better tactic. He moves down the opposite alley between Customs and Holding and the Warehouse. As he approaches the alley he draws his rapier in his right hand letting the concealed dagger in his left slide into view. He seems to glide from shadow to shadow staying concealed as he moves.
Watching from his chair, Ghiv notices people taking leave to see what the commotion is about. He idly gets up gets up and meanders to the door stepping threw it and then side steps to lean against the wall out front, one leg pressed against the wall. Firearms huh? Heard of them but never seen them. This should be fun... Ghiv stays alert as he goes through the door and leans against the wall his off hand concealing his cold-iron dagger keeping his rapier sheathed.
A toothpick in the corner of his mouth, his head down, a smirk appearing across his face. "Trouble? This should be interesting... and here I thought this trip was going to be boring." His right hand rest comfortable on his rapier, his other hanging down limply next to him, the chair leaning back against the wall. "Let us see what the others do."
