Gerald is quiet as they take their leave from Fitch, but as they ride a shuttle back to The station he can't help but mutter loudly. "Who knew? A possiblely sentient creature stored aboard the flagship for however long, who knew? We absolutely must improve record keeping. We can't hope to discover anything in the vast if our own backyard is a mystery. For the rest of the trip similar grumblings can be heard if none so forceful as the first.
When congratulated by Guidance, "May our association be long and bring mutual improvements to each of us."

I would like to play more with others here, and I hope to catch you again as GM Suede, but I think my vote would be to call it after this part. If the last bit is particularly involved then we could be at it for a while yet. And it's always nice to have a bit of new left in an evergreen.

I mean, I'm certainly having fun, and I'd be more than happy to play more with this group, maybe with another character. But I also would like having a character with a game under his belt when my local group starts running scenarios in a bit over a week if possible.

Do we need to do the last part, or is it an option to call it early? I'm enjoying, don't get me wrong, but my area has finally started running SFS and it would also be nice to have the character slot for that. I don't want to reduce the rewards for others or anything, just thought I'd ask to see if it was an option.

Gerald will look around for an undamaged containment system for the creature. Then he will contact Fitch to give a report and request a containment unit if he can't find one.

Being neither diplomatic or particularly athletic Gerald will let the others make the attempts. He will instead stay at the door and try to prevent the creature from leaving that way, perhaps by closing any doors and insuring they stay that way.

Gerald will stay next to Hudathan and try to stay watchful. At Rigs' suggestion he'll activate he suit's environmental systems.

Appearing completely serious Gerald starts digging through his engineering kit "I think I've some staples large enough here. I might have to juice up the delivery method to get them through the walls here but it should only take a short medical procedure to correct any issues caused by that." Gerald stops digging and puts his kit back in place. "Nevermind, that would be silly. It would certainly damage the plating and might hit a vital system."

Gerald grips his rifle ready to follow Hudathan into the next room. At Gil's statement he shakes his head. "I'd be more worried about ourselves or the damage that thing could be doing to the ship than taking something alive if it doesn't want us to. But I'll wait a moment." As Gil places his request Gerald will pipe up at the end with an addition "And also someone to take two brats someplace they're less likely to keep damaging your ship."

Gerald shakes his head "Everyone stay back from the western door, looks like there's an error in the fire suppression system. Can one of you lend me a hand resetting it?" Gerald will move up to the door skirting widely around the children and try to correct the issue.

Shaking his head at the children Gerald mutters "Always making trouble and problems for others. Gerald will go back to reviewing the computer feeds and records to try and find the real source of the problem.

Given that either DC is likely more than 10 and Gerald typically notices children as things best left to anyone else I'll pass on the check. Maybe at some future level.
Gerald will wait for someone else to approach and generally try and keep his distance from them.

Gerald waves off the flashlight and grimaces at the sight of the children. His voice seems to hold an abnormal amount of dislike and disgust even for the somewhat demonstrative android. "Of course, children. Well, no option but to deal with them." As they walk Gerald will hold his rifle and use Hal to try and identify to who the children belong with the available records.

Gerald will raise an eyebrow, fish in a pocket and pull out the flashlight he found near the Feather stalker. Gerald will go over to Hudathan, place the light in his hands and turn it on. "Here, I'm sure we'll get the lights on before something attacks you."
Gerald will lend a hand with the electronics. If they manage to restore power and computers Gerald will take a moment to hook Hal into the floor's computer system.

Gerald nods. "Lets see what manner of stowaway we have to deal with. Maybe it'll be as simple as opening the floor's airlock." Stoping and noting Hudathan, Gill and Rigs, he continues. "Or maybe not. But if we can't solve it with laser fire we do always have fallback options." Gerald will follow the others to hunt for the source of the decks malfunctions.

Thank you, I could figure it out by casting the spell one charge at a time, patching with mending if needed, but honestly that's just unneeded busywork. So that gives me 36 charges. Please post how many you need to top off, I'll pass the remaining charges to Hudathan for his artillery laser.

Gerald will look over at Gill. "You had someone you wanted to meet correct? If so that seems as good a next stop as any."

I'm good with that mission. I can use the rifle but I'm sure I'm not the only person who can. And any chance we could get how many charges were in the batteries? Or can we presume everything was filled up, or do we need to do something else?

Gerald will snag a pulsecaster if no one objects, non lethal options and all that. "I don't mind, but actually, if everyone with an energy weapon will gather around I can probably top us off with these batteries." Transfer charge cantrip
Gerald will nod to Ceren. "I think we covered it all, and you probably should get out of sight soon. Contact the society when you've settled in and we should be able to help you stay entertained."

Rather than sticking around with his own batton Gerald pulls back leaving the green ganger to face the fire of his teammates.

Gerald grunts as the electricity arcs over him and yells over his shoulder "A little help here please? That stings." ignoring his own rifle Gerald moves up to the thugs, raises a hand and smiles slightly as a cool chill sweeps over him soothing the electrical burns. The gout of flame that washes out from his hand at the gangsters only makes the smile widen.
Gerald will take a move action up to his current position, and a standard to catch yellow and green in an overheat spell.

AB-X1 we seem to be of the same mind, and nearly the same timing.
Gerald will move up next to the pair and gesture to others to join him.

Gerald looks around the apartment to try and gauge some of Ceren's interest. "Rigs, give me a hand? Maybe between you, me and Hal we can get her new identity hooked into some online social circles. There's got to be a group for hackers that are too old, or people who forget the day to day illegal actions they take. That kind of thing happens to you organics often enough, right?" With that Gerald starts using the new identity they have to create accounts on Absalom Meetups and similar sites.
Gerald will set the parameters and feed in information and let Hal finesse the actual setup and contact emails.

"lt seems like we have enough technical expertise that using a body and just altering her records to match would be the route least likely to fail. Though I'm short on funds we do have those that we got for dealing with the feather stalker." Gerald will settle in and help Rigs create the false papers.

Gerald looks over at Gil. "Seems like the right time for some of that talking. Maybe he knows about the hacker, maybe he is the hacker. I'll keep an eye out for any corporate lackeys." About to turn towards the street and the way they came Gerald turns back for a moment. "I know a bit about hacking myself, though I doubt I'm alone in that here. Let me know if you need help confirming you have the right person or breaking an encryption."

Gerald nods and takes down the address. "Seems clear enough to me. I don't have any other questions, the rest of you ready to go?" Gerald pulls the copy of the record they were sent for out. "Ahh yes Hudathan. Before we go, we were also asked to deliver this to you. A gift from Zigvigix."

" I'd like to know where you traced them to myself. It sounds like we should hurry though. You did say you'd delayed them, not prevented pursuit, correct?" Gerald waits for Historia-7 to work through the slew of questions.

Shorty after getting into the line Gerald seals his suit to cut down on noise and listens to to various info-sphere shows to better ignore the crowd around them.

Ahh sorry, we don't have any envoys but I'd forgotten Mechanics. I don't want to use them since the non-proficiency would also affect the save DC, but for those who do Supercharge weapon will also boost one by 2d6, which is nice if we can hit enough targets.
Gerald will use Token Spell to clean any blood off the flashlight, and seeing his companions are also well adapted to little light slides it into a pocket against future need. "I think you'll find weakness is relative, and may seem far greater than it is."
"Where shall we get a copy of the album? Do any of you know if a store is nearby, or maybe we can get a copy delivered on our way to the next leader?"

I think Hudathan is probably the only one who can use the armor, which is a nice set. And same with the grenades. I'd prefer to go ahead and finish up here myself. Who can say what fun we may miss by hurrying.

Gerald will go find and administer Gil's healing serum. "Well that was interesting. Nice shot Hudathan." Glancing down at Gil. "See that's the sort of first contact I can do." Gerald will then take a look around.

"There's little enough of it left. We'll have to hurry if we don't want Gil's first mission to be his last." Seeing the beast on its last legs Gerald will join the others in the barrage of fire.
Gerald will fire at the beast and then move further around the catwalk to put some distance between him and the Stalker.

Gerald frowns at the hits Gil has taken "Hold in there Gil. Hudathan, hit it." Gerald moves back just a little more and then lays out harrying fire to assist Hudathan's attack.
Gerald will delay until right before Hudathan's turn move a little and then take the Harrying Fire action.
Harrying fire: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 if equal to or greater than 15 Hudathan's attack will get a +2 circumstance bonus.

Seeing the creature appear Gerald will cast Supercharge Weapon on Hudathan's laser, and shift his grip to hold his gun normally.
Standard, cast Supercharge Weapon
Supercharge Weapon: the weapon's next shot if it hits will do an additional 4d6 damage of the weapon's normal type, 2d6 if an area effect. This attack must be made before the end of the next round.
Swift, shift grips.

Gerald raises an eyebrow at Rigs' comment and says over the com system. "The way I see it, we're not going to lose anything presuming everything is capable of ambushing us. And if that presumption is right it'll help us live long enough to be as old as I look."
Gerald looks around the warehouse Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21 perception with his low light and dark vision.
If he spots nothing:
Gerald unlimbers his rifle and holding it in one hand gestures up at the catwalk with the other to Hudathan. "Maybe a better vantage point will help us find him?
If Hudathan agrees Gerald will wait for him to lead the way.

Gerald gives the laser a once over that speaks more of technical expertise than proficiency. Then hands it back. "Good to see a well cared for weapon. Just don't get to far from me when it all hits the fan and I will."
If Hudathan will stay close enough for a touch spell Gerald will cast Supercharge Weapon on his laser. Then all you'll need to do is hit it with your first shot to cause a fair bit of extra devastation.

Gedald passes on his information to the others, being sure to properly reference his sources. "I'm ready to go when you lot are." Glancing over at Hudathan and his weapon. "Is that the Azimuth Artillery line? They're a fairly decent weapon." Tapping his own rifle he continues. "Can you hit what you aim it at? I can give it a bit more juice if so. Just give me a second with it right before you fire it at the beast."

Gerald enjoys seeing the video. Always amusing to watch someone reap the rewards of stupidity.
He then takes a step back from the conversation and brings up the holo display on his wrist computer "Hal, connect to the station's network and pull information on Feather Stalkers." Gerald will take the next two minutes to take 20 using Absolon Station's infosphere, his computer and its AI.
20 with a +7 in life science is 27. And I'll pass on the highly unlikely sense motive with my android penalties, Gerald is distracted now anyway.

Gerald lets out a small sigh at the second "task. Too much to hope that that's a joke, or that we're free to use the same skill set to deal with the crowds as the warehouse. taking a breath he turns back to the Shirren. "Yes, Zigvigix, do we have any description of the creature? And do we need to take particular care of the cargo, or just keep the destruction to a reasonable minimum?"

"None from me." Gerald looks around at the others to see if they have any. In his mind he try's to remember we what he can of the station from his short stay so far.

I can't get any of them to laod, so I haven't seen the handouts yet. It's probably because I'm on my phone. But that's not really an issue, I'll get at them tonight with my computer, and if initiative or perception must be rolled before then they're also in my quick stat block.

Gerald provides the requested swab, then brings up the holodisplay on his computer and provides his design specifications before recording the information provided on the factions into it. "I'll take an implant as well, if it's a problem I can always cut it out. And we might have to prove our affiliation some time. I'd like to visit the Dataphile Administrator myself, but I'm up for a trip to the Exo-Gardians first since people seem interested."

Hudathan, now I sort of wish I'd brought my other character who's a Shirren Bio-engineer actively working to find out how to take down the swarm. Ahh well, we have enough Operatives as it is, like the story though.
