About Geina Fairleaf

Geina Fairleaf was born the daughter of an elven gem cutter named Hasasl Fairleaf, from the city of Absalom. Hasasl had a little gem shop in the Merchants quarter. Hasasl’ gem shop did a lot of business with the Pathfinder agents looking to exchange their gems for gold, or get rough gems finished. Geina’s mothers name was Arraul.

Geina’s mother died during a botched robber of the gem store while Geina was still very young. The murder hit Geina hard and she and for some unknown reason, her hair turned white in a very short period of time, less than a week. Geina never told her father that she felt the touch of her mother stroking her hair at night. After a week, this sensation of her mother’s presence was gone.

As Geina grew older she used to spend a lot of time in the shop helping her father with business. Eventually Hasasl started to train his daughter to be a gem cutter as well. Geina enjoyed hearing the Pathfinder agents talk about their adventures while she was working. Geina always took special care of the Pathfinder agents gems and jewels as she worked on them.

When Geina became of adult age, Geina made her wishes known to her father that she wanted to become a Pathfinder. Much to her surprise, her father consented, explaining that he thought it was a noble venture. Geina began training with the pathfinders.

During this time Geina began training as a wizard, or more specific an Evoker. Geina felt that she would need to be more offensive in nature to make sure that she can get the upper hand on anyone that was trying to hurt or kill her. A lesson she learned when her mother, who had no way to defend herself, was killed. As part of this training her tutors felt Geina needed to be more focused and they gave her the exercises to improve upon that. The instructors found that Geina could react to threats a little quicker than the average person.

Geina still works in her father’s shop every chance she gets.
