Gavin heads to the Temple, chatting with those he meets along the way. Once there, he seeks out Finn O'Donal. Quite pleased with the arrangement they have had so far, Gavin casts enhance water 9 more times. Taking mailbox payment to day 72
He then spends the day moving from merchant to merchant, looking over their wares for anything of note, but also asking if they are in need of any particular items or materials that he can keep an eye out for in his travels.

Lyra's entrance draws Gavin's attention, as it always does. With a smile, he says
"The lovely Lyra Posfurore, master of the rapier and the rapier wit. These fine folk were just explaining a job opportunity. And to answer your question," he says as he turns back to Mykos and Tara "I would be better suited to the task tomorrow, if the delay is amenable."

"I spent a long life in service to others, both high in station and low. I settled in a quiet village, thinking that my years of usefulness were behind me, But I began to be plagued by a disturbing dream." Gavin says, sipping his tea.
"In my dream, a robed man is surrounded by devils and demons, bent on his destruction, faces twisted with hate. When The figure draws back his cloak, he becomes surrounded by eyes, a blinding light driving the forces back. He stands alone against the darkness. Always in my dream, he is stalwart, but eventually overwhelmed."
"Some time later, my companion, the Witness stopped in my village in his travels and I knew he was the one from my dream. Just like that, my short retirement ended. I do not know if I will be able to make a difference when that day comes, but I do know that he will not stand alone."
His tone lightening, Gavin continues.
"The Witness' relentless quest for knowledge led him to seek entry into the Tower, and we have both been truly blessed by loyal and capable friends we have made along the way."

Taking a sip from his drink, he adds,
"I couldn't help but notice that you've skillfully skirted my more personal questions. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this leads me to believe that this may be more of a business arrangement than the beginnings of a friendship. It's perfectly fine if that's the case, we all have our own comfort levels for opening up, but if it is a business arrangement, remuneration should be discussed." Gavin says, trying to gauge the situation, not offend.

"Mykos and Tara, it is my great pleasure to meet you both." Gavin says with a bow.
"In a way, we are all travelers and explorers, whether we choose to be or not. Please, tell me more about this obstacle."
Gavin listens to the newest of his breakfast guests, giving them plenty of time to offer whatever information they choose. When they are done, he asks, "How long have you been in the Tower? What let your desire to enter? What are your thoughts on tea?"

On the way through, Gavin stops at the Temple, Checking the box once again. If no one is obviously looking for him, he will inquire after Mykos.
Upon finding him, Gavin introduces himself, and Seth, and Max.
"Greetings fellow soul, I am Gavin Soleques, servant of Sarenrae and all those of a kind heart, and lover of tea. This young lad" he says gesturing to Seth, " is Seth Posfurore, Lover of Music, Seeker of Mirth, and Master of Duality."
Nodding a slight bow to Max, he continues, "And this Capable Knight is Maximus Benedictus, Fierce Warrior, Devourer of Challenges, and Loyal Companion." He says, leaving room for a reply.
"As you seem to already be aware, while we have all come to the Tower with a myriad of goals and reasons, for us, one of those purposes is to help those around us. I would be happy to discuss business at breakfast."
If there are no objections, or need for urgency, Gavin walks with them all to his morning feast spot and begins the casting.

Gavin rises early and looks in on his companions. Satisfied nothing is amiss, he warms some tea and meditates in his usual morning routine. Then he prepares, and sends, a greeting to Mykos.

Upon their return to the Tower, and departure from Joska, Gavin makes his way back to Redwatch. Talking with those he passes, he goes to The Temple to check the box he left for others to communicate with him for notes.

Gavin goes with Joska, adding whatever he can remember from the foray, and from their dealings with other 'Rosethorn' items.

Gavin's attitude towards the altering of the timeline, or timelines, has always been more or less indifferent.

Gavin would be most pleased to help Rowan find something he has lost, though, if we are searching together, he will attempt to assist by casting acute senses on his new friend and using the assist action. If he is searching alone, he does his best to be quick about it.
