Sporting the look of a rugged frontiersman or cowboy, Garreth wears a chain shirt under a leather vest, leather breeches, and a sizable duster. He tops the look with a wide-brimmed hat.

CHARACTER IN BRIEF
-Born and raised in Sandpoint
-Mother (Anezra) died at a young age, father (Brindol) killed by Sczarni thugs
-Taken in by Father Tobyn and the church
-Grew to love Desna
-Left town to learn skills after the Late Unpleasantness
-Learned to get around the Varisian frontier for years
-Found one of the thugs that killed his father, but not the leader
-Took the bandit's bastard sword to make sure no other innocents are slain by it
-Returning to Sandpoint after hearing of the opening of the new cathedral
-Now he is a prideful man, very proud of his skills and prowess.
-He has the hometown, rugged hospitality, making him very amiable.

Goal 1 Settle down in Sandpoint
Goal 2 Finish the avenging of his father

His secret He had his own time as a bandit in his early frontier years. Some time with a Shoanti tribe, reuniting with Desna took him from the path. He regrets that time, including all the murders he did in the name of his own survival.

Secret to him The Sczarni were all related to his mother and blamed her death on his father. His death was their revenge for her passing.

Relations
Hildin Overren (Close Friend): His best friend growing up. The two were inseparable, getting into trouble over the years. Now, he serves as a wizard's apprentice to Ilsoari Gandethus at the Turandarok Academy
Nardi Singing Blade (Close Friend): His Shoanti sister. They grew close in Garreth's time of penance and rebirth. She is the warrior he aspires to be.
Ameiko Kaijitsu (Friend): Garreth knew Ameiko from his time in Sandpoint as it's not difficult to know people in a town this size. Not best friends, but better than acquaintances.
Amara Falden (Rival): A fellow frontierswoman whom Garreth has had many run ins with over the years. They trade stories and techniques, each looking to have a taller tale or a more impressive skill for the next time they see each other.
Jubrayl Vhiski (Enemy): The man he's searching for is right under his nose. Jubrayl made the order to kill his father, unbeknownst to Garreth.

Key Memories
-The wandering of his life led him to be a better man. The reuniting with Desna through the Shoanti is a sign of this.
-His father's death occasionally haunts him, filling his heart with rage.
-His time and experience learning his skills are a matter of great pride.

Fear Fire
He was within the church as it burned down and now uncontrollable fires strike fear into his heart. A simple torch or campfire is not an issue, but the plains fires in the Cinderlands or a wizard's fireball are too much.
