This is my bio:
My maternal grandfather was a prosperous trader and merchant by the name of Thadius Orion. He had many daughters, and sent them off as brides to the sons of other merchants across Golarion to cement trade deals and make himself even richer. The youngest of these, Paulina, was sent to a merchant's son in Avistan, far distant from her native city of Kintargo, along with a rich caravan that held her dowry. On the way, however, they passed too close to the orcish Hold of Belkzen and the caravan was attacked. The aging leader of the orcs, Hyack Deathstalker, took a liking to Paulina, however, and kept her alive. Almost two years later, I was born. The elderly Hyack loved me, in spite of my half-blood, and trained me well in many fighting disciplines. I grew tall and strong, and was able to care for my mother and tend to my father as well.
When I was 15, however, a rival orc clan decided that my father was a ripe target and tried to kill him and all of our clan. Father decided that rather than risk me, he would send my mother and I back to her father in Kintargo. Over my protest, he sent us back to Cheliax [the city of Kintargo is in the country of Cheliax] with a bodyguard of ten fierce orc fighters. As we neared the dwarven city of Janderhoff, the dwarves saw us, mistook my mother and I for human captives, and killed all of our orc bodyguards to "rescue" us. Once we explained what had happened, the dwarves, as an act of contrition, returned all of our valuables to us, escorted us to the city of Korvosa and bought us passage on a ship from Korvosa to Kintargo.
I arrived in Kintargo still grieving for my father and the orc friends killed in the fight with the dwarves, but my mother and I were at least safe in my grandfather's large home. Safe, but not loved. As a half-blood, I was shunned by the rest of the family, and all of Kintargo. They never made any attempt to teach me human manners, so I was left in my barbarian state, refined by orcish standards but completely lost in human civilization. My mother, too, was not treated well by people, although her father made sure we never wanted for anything. The only person who paid any attention to me was one of my mother's brothers, who had decided to join the Hellknights instead of following his father into trade. This uncle, Jullian, saw me practicing my fighting skills one day shortly after we arrived and took me under his wing. Thereafter, I was often to be found in my uncle's shadow, and he trained me right along with the men under his command. I even briefly met Octavio Sabinus, the Lictor of the Hellknight Order, and was immediately impressed by his physical prowess and striking looks. I secretly learned all I could about my new hero, and kept track of his doings.
Three years after our arrival in Kintargo, now 18 and at my full growth, there has been an upheaval in the city. The old mayor, Jilia Bainilus, has disappeared and a new mayor, Barzillai Thrune, has been sent to govern the city. Octavio has also not been seen since Barzillai took control a week ago and instituted martial law, and I'm getting concerned. I have heard there is going to be a protest in Aria Park, and a rumor that Octavio might be there, so I'm going, hoping to get a glimpse of him and see for myself that he is okay.
