@gm in going back into learning the rules, my online source says the starting spells are at the discretion of your DM. How would you want to handle that?

I have interest but I am going to have to relearn the ADD 2nd edition rules. But it will also depend on the dice gods.

4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 4, 6) = 13 = 12
4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 2, 2) = 14 = 12
