Tableplop

I’ve just sent the chronicles as a private message to each one of you. I’ve reported the game just before that.

I forgot to mention I welcome any feedback. I might put up a short list of questions to help that but that will wait for me to get better.

Tableplop

The society leaders listen to Rangi before spending time getting reports from everyone, including Rain and Biglock.

They meet back in the vault a few hours later. In the mean time, you all got healed and got rid of any averse condition.

Zarta turns the chalice over multiple times, trying to see if she can get any of the magic liquid to appear. When everyone has finally gathered for the debrief, she says, “Well, I’m still not sure what this is, but all your reports are consistent. It’s obviously a central piece of Aslynn’s plan. In a way, it’s a good thing that shard of her mind infiltrated our vaults, as it’s allowed us to understand a few things we might have otherwise missed! I wish we could’ve learned about this without putting your lives in danger, and for that, I apologize. I hope you’re ready for more adventures. We’ve just scratched the surface of the vault’s contents, and we need to act fast to learn more about some of these items. One thing is certain: we can’t leave everything here and wait around for Aslynn to strike again.

The faction leaders quickly fall into a heated discussion over the best approach to the items—it’s clear that they don’t see eye to eye, but they all agree that they’ll need to work together for the sake of the Society’s future!
While the Society’s leaders argue, Biglock gives a smug grin to the PCs. “Nice work. Hey—Zarta is pretty great. She says Mr. Glovely and I don’t have to stick around this dusty vault! Don’t worry, though. We’ll be in touch. I’ve got a few schemes in mind. When I’m done making arrangements, Mr. Glovely will come calling!

Tableplop

Between Tiger’s first strike, Anshluss first strike and Elsa’s first bomb, the combined attack is enough to defeat the shard. Like the other creatures, it vanishes as if a nightmare.

The Vault’s door almost immediately opens, as Zarta Dralneen
rushes into the vault along with Society leaders Ambrus Valsin, Eando Kline, Eliza Petulengro, Fola Barun, and Calisro Benarry. They look fierce some as they are ready to fight, and put their weapon down as they see you have handled the matter. They immediately starts checking on each of you to make some no one is in near death condition. Hearing of the various conditions, they give order to bring something to help. They asks reports of the situation, so you have the time to talk and heal and be healed. Rain seems getting better already. Biglocks is also visible in his treasure chest form and Mr. Glovely too.

You all have an opportunity to provide your reports before a final wrap up.

Tableplop

The treasure is not difficult terrain.

Elsha’s first bomb is right on target but the second one goes wide.

After retching a bit Corona starts feeling a bit better.

Tiger moves in and tries to find an opening but does not, he retreats out of range.

Sunshine Will Save DC 20: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14

Sunshine starts to feel strange after Aslynn’s claw attack, starting to dwell on his worst nightmares.
Sunshine casts a spell and manages to hit the hag once.

Sunshine is stupefied 1 for a day.

Rangi manages to hit, his follow up swing completely out of balance.

NPC rolls:

1d20 + 14 - 1 ⇒ (19) + 14 - 1 = 32
1d20 + 14 - 1 - 4 ⇒ (5) + 14 - 1 - 4 = 14

The hag’s shard is in bad shape but does not surrender, the angry look on her face is an indication she does intend to fight until she drops.
The hag casts a spell and a ray hit Rangi’s heart. He feels his strength being sapped.
She then turns toward Sunshine but her claws attacks are easily dodged.

Rangi needs to do a Fortitude save DC 19 (ray of enfeeblement)

Combat status (block initiative, bold to act)
Round 4 continued
Elsha Ustosh, Immune to Treat Wounds for ~50 minutes
Corona Meridian, 0 focus, Curse of the Sky's Call: Moderate (enfeebled 2, 2 penalty to saves and DCs against Grapple, Shove, and other forms of forced movement), maintaining Bless, sickened 2
Round 5
Tiger, 1 damage
Anschluss, 14 damage, Immune to Treat Wounds for ~50 minutes, sickened 1, stupefied 1 for a day
Rangi, immune to treat wounds for an hour, heroism, gravity weapon, sickened 1, 2 damage, raised shield, Fortitude save dc 20
Shard of Aslynn, 50 damage, deafened for a eight rounds

Tableplop

We’re almost done, I do not think Aslynn will get another turn. After that, there’s just a last scene.

Tableplop

Tiger and Rangi avoids the musk, while Corona starts feeling bad.

Two critical success and a failure. Corona is sickened 3.

The shard of Aslynn dodges Sunshine’s swing. She does not reply to him.

She’s deafened so can’t hear you.

Despite the odor that clings to him, Rangi manages to dispatch the last skunk. He moves to flank the shard of the hag.

NPC rolls:

1d20 + 14 ⇒ (10) + 14 = 24
1d10 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

The hag uses her claws, attacking Sunshine. She manages to hit but almost fall over afterwards. The Nidalese feels his mind affected and tries to hold on.

Sunshine takes 12 points of damage and needs to do a Will Save DC 20.
Only two actions as she was stunned 1.

Combat status (block initiative, bold to act)
Round 3

Elsha Ustosh, Immune to Treat Wounds for ~50 minutes
Corona Meridian, 0 focus, Curse of the Sky's Call: Moderate (enfeebled 2, 2 penalty to saves and DCs against Grapple, Shove, and other forms of forced movement), maintaining Bless, sickened 3
Tiger, 1 damage, Fortitude Save
Giant Skunk like creature (red) Killed by Rangi
Anschluss, 14 damage, Immune to Treat Wounds for ~50 minutes, sickened 1
Rangi, 2 damage, immune to treat wounds for an hour, heroism, sickened 1
Shard of Aslynn, 17 damage, deafened for nine rounds

Tableplop

Elsha’s first bomb hit the creature in the back, it hisses in pain. The second bomb misses but it is close enough and the creature is even more in pain. With the last bomb the creature will not be a thread to anyone anymore.

I forgot to move Tiger 10 feet north as the creature was not down. That might make Corona change her turn to avoid being too close to the creature. Due to what the creature does I do not think redoing the turn is necessary.

The remaining giant skunk sends some musk toward Corona, Tiger, and Rangi, it then moves closer to them.

Corona, Tiger, and Rangi both needs to do a fortitude save, DC 16.

Combat status (block initiative, bold to act)
Round 3
Anschluss, 14 damage, Immune to Treat Wounds for ~50 minutes, sickened 1
Giant Skunk like creature (green) killed by Elsha

Tableplop

Tiger manages to hit the giant skunk twice, the creature is still in fighting condition. He tries to finish off the creature but misses before moving out of range.

Combat status (block initiative, bold to act)
Round 2 continued
Elsha Ustosh, Immune to Treat Wounds for ~50 minutes

Shard of Aslynn, 17 damage, deafened for a minute, stunned 1
Tiger, 1 damage

Tableplop

The creature was badly damages and Rangi manages to cut deeply in the neck, the creature is too damaged to continue fighting.

NPC rolls:

1d20 + 14 ⇒ (12) + 14 = 26
1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

The hag’s shard says a few words and a sickly green ray appears and she aims it at Sunshine. He starts feeling his strength failing him.

Sunshine DC 20 Fortitude save vs Ray of Enfeeblement

She does not wait more and with a quick word, she casts another spell and a magic missile hits Rangi.

Combat status (block initiative, bold to act)
Round 2 continued
Giant Skunk like creature (pink) killed by Rangi

Shard of Aslynn, 17 damage, deafened for a minute, stunned 1

Tableplop

To speed things a bit, I will roll Sunshine’s saves.

Sunshine Fortitude vs the Skunk musk: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25 Success, Sunshine is sickened 1
Sunshine Will save vs Aslynn’s gaze: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13 Failure, Sunshine is frightened 1 and slowed 1 for a round.

As blue is badly injured, Sunshine will just use Hunt Prey and an attack, the other action is lost to slowed 1.

Sunshine manages to dispatch one of the giant skunk.

NPC rolls:

1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
1d20 ⇒ 15

pink: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
jaws: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Tiger gets in position and Corona gets in range and her voice booms. The shard of Aslynn seems to be badly affected and blood is pouring from her ears.

One of the giant skunk uses the stairs to get toward Tiger and Corona while the other moves in, has difficulty but manages to move behind shelves just before attacking Sunshine. The creature manages to bite him but the wound is not deep.

Rain is still quite afraid and does not act at all, he stays away.

Biglock is nowhere to be found, it probably took the form of some furniture hoping Aslynn does not find it. You remember it was also hiding the last time the shard was active.
Mr. Glovely can’t be seen either.

Tableplop

Rolls:

1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 9 + 1 = 14

Rangi believes the creature are a variant of giant skunk that can be found on some places in Golarion. The creature has a malignant look that seems quite unnatural thought. Like their more natural counterparts, those creatures might be able to propels potent musk. That’s just before he’s sprayed by some.

The Evil Blinding Musk is a 15 foot cone.
Rangi is sickened 1 after the success on the check.

Everyone was at the location you where searching for when the shard of Aslynn suddenly appeared. I rolled to see which Assorted Objects pile Elsha was searching at.

Elsha rushes to a location that gives him a look at the pile of treasure bellow and all the creatures next to it.

Found or given and unused so far:

Tableplop

Which creature is Rangi trying to recall knowledge on, the Giant Skunk like creatures or the Shard of Aslynn?

One of the creature seems to wait to see what’s happening.

The creature next to Rangi and Sunshine propels potent, acrid musk toward both of them.

Basic Fortitude save DC 16 for both of them. See the relevant spoiler for the affect based on your roll. The ability has both the evil and poison traits.

After that the creature attacks but misses.

It attacks the one of you that rolls the most badly, but misses whatever the case.

The shard of Aslynn concentrates, looking intensely in Sunshine’s direction.
Aslynn gazes upon a creature, afflicting it with intense distress and a gnawing sense of impending doom; the creature must attempt a DC

Corona searches through the scrolls but can not find something she recognizes.

As you are about to gather to see if the others found anything of value, Biglock suddenly shouts in alarm.
The shard of Aslynn mind flies toward the vault’s center.
Biglock shouts, “It’s too late! She’s here! This is bad!

The shard, hovering near the amassed treasures, twists and warps, taking on the familiar form of Aslynn and her cauldron. “Your plan to kill me? So brave, so bold. And yet, it matters not. Behold!” She plunges an oozing claw into the pile and brandishes a jeweled chalice.

Boundless wonder called to me. And I respond with nightmares three! Three children of my last thirteen shall join me in an endless dream. A realm where you shall vex me not—a realm where you shall be forgot! Destroy me here, but at what cost? You fight in vain, for all is lost!

Cackling with glee, Aslynn watches as the chalice brims with swirling magical liquid. She inhales deeply, then empties the chalice into her cauldron. Four fuming creatures boil forth, and Aslynn commands, “Kill the Pathfinders! And should they survive, let this be the first of their boundless nightmares!

If you want to have taken one of the objects, it’s the last time to indicate so, I’ll consider everything not taken by someone to be on the table from the beginning of the adventure. What was found in the last exploration is in the hand of the character that found it.

As the combat starts, Zykyryz, that’s carried by Rangi, suddenly shouts “Oh I just remembered a spell that should help!” She concentrates and speaks magic and Rangi feels like an hero. “Told you I can cast spells!

Under the effect of heroism, so “+1 status bonus to attack rolls, Perception checks, saving throws, and skill checks.”

(Skill Check: Arcana, Diplomacy, Occultism, or Religion) Looks like Rangi got something out of the skull, unless someone is lucky, no need to go further.

2. Pile of treasure. We probably shouldn’t leave everything in a pile like that, but we’ve been short-staffed. See what’s in there!
(Skill Check: Arcana, Crafting, or Perception) Rangi and Tiger have gone through all the items.

3. Assorted items. There’s all kinds of stuff up in the raised storage areas on the west wall and in the northeast corner. Did we find any magic potions in the vault? Alchemical items? Talismans? You bet we did! I know a healing potion when I see one, but some of this stuff is beyond my experience. See what you can find!

4. Pile of empty chests. I already looked through these. If you find more empty chests, just pile them in the southwest corner of the vault.

5. Danger! These shelves are way up high and piled high with dangerous poisons and possibly cursed items. I think Zarta felt it would be safer if they were out of reach, but we should make sure there’s nothing too dangerous up there.
(Skill Check: Acrobatics, Athletics, Medicine, Thievery, or Underworld Lore) Tiger found the demon mask there, there’s probably nothing more of interest except if someone is very lucky

6. Weapons. There are lots of magic weapons lying around. See if you can find the most powerful ones. Our field agents sure could use them!

As a reminder, Corona has 1 hero point, and every one else has two.

It’s long due that I gave some hero points. I haven’t seen much heroics but as both Sunshine and Rangi stood their ground and took the blunt of the assault, they each gain an extra hero point.

Tableplop

Rangi quickly patches himself before starting to look at the scrolls. He finds a scroll that looks magical. Sunshine joins him and find another scroll that look magical.

Tiger takes a look at the weapons and try using them to find anything out of the ordinary. He finds a mace that looks magical.

Searching uses the same Exploring the Vault rule as before, you need to pick one of the location. Both Elsha and Corona have a go at it. You can also spend some time identifying one of the object, that’s also an exploration activity.

Mr. Glovely mimes a closed mouth to indicate it can’t speak.

I did not work for the Pathfinders, I just moved there when the Society got hold of the Onyx Alliance treasure there. They had captured me.” The gloves stop moving, as if someone trying to hide.

Biglock asks Mr. Glovely “Show you that thing you found.” Mr. Glovely produces a small gold spoon. “[b]No, not that! The other thing!” Mr.
Glovely shows you a jagged shard of purple glass with constellations like those visible in the ooze of Aslynn’s cauldron. “That’s the one! I think it’s a shard of Aslynn’s mind. It’s projecting all those creatures into this place. She’s probably looking for it. I think you should destroy it, but first, you’ll want to prepare for a fight. A piece of a night hag’s mind isn’t bound to go out without a struggle.

Mr. Glovely also found some good stuff.” Mr. Glovely rummages around the many discarded chests, then produces a wayfinder and proudly presents it to the PCs.
No, no, I mean the really good stuff.” Mr. Glovely smacks his nonexistent forehead. He produces a small key from thin air and unlocks some sort of invisible container. With an exaggerated display of effort, he lifts a breastplate from the container and presents it to the PCs. Biglock grins. “That oughta do it. Have fun!

During the discussion Rain finally came to his sense enough to join you. He still seems pretty shaken. Biglock recommends searching the room again to find anything that could be used against Aslynn. Rain nodes in agreement.

Everyone has 10 minutes to either search the vault or do a single exploration activity. If you search the vault, the help from Mr. Glovely and Biglock will give a +2 to the check.

(Skill Check: Arcana, Crafting, Gladiatorial Lore, or Warfare Lore)

7. Scrolls and such. We sure did find lots of scrolls! Thought I saw some wands in there, too. Might be something useful for the Society’s spellcasters in there.

Exploring the vault

Tableplop

Before transforming into a treasure box, the mimic was disguised as a table. Many boxes were stacked on top and under it.

Biglock seems eager to talk and they first reply to Sunshine. “I’ve no plan to do so as I need you to help me stay out of Aslynn’s reach. I’ve done what I can but I do not plan on waiting for the real Aslynn to find her way in. You probably don’t want to be her new bests friends either.” While the mimic is talking, Mr Glovely is making gestures accompanying what the mimic is saying.

Then to Elsha and Rangi, they reply “How I got there is a long story. To be honest, I’ve been in quite a few of the Society’s vaults over the years. I’m good at going unnoticed.” Mr. Glovely hides behind a chest. “Last time I got noticed, it was by that night hag, Aslynn.” He mimes the hag carrying the cauldron. “She saw my potential, and… well, she owns a significant share of my soul. I can barely even remember how I lost it to her in the first place. A bad bet? A worse debt? Can’t rightly say, as I don’t rightly know. Well, for years now, I’ve had to do as she asks. Mostly spying, a bit of stealing.” The gloves seems to take something with one hand and put it in the other. “But when I wised up to some of her plans, I made a break for it.” Mr. Glovely uses two fingers to mime an humanoid going fast. “She’s been looking for me ever since. I think she fed information to those Onyx Alliance rascals. They captured me, so when the Society got hold of their treasures, I came with!” Mr. Glovely points out to the vault’s floor.

Corona tries to remember something useful about mimic but aside from their very famous ability to transform into something else, nothing else come to mind.

I don’t know the details, but I know Aslynn’s trying to brew some powerful magic in that weird cauldron. She needs a few of the magic items from your stash here.” Mr. Glovely mimes Aslynn carrying the cauldron then points out various places in the vault, taking something and putting it in the cauldron.
As Mr. Glovely takes out a dagger and a something looking like a crystal key from behind one of the boxes. Biglock says, “While you were distracting Aslynn, we found these! I think she was looking for them.
This dagger here looks like it’s from the Jistka Imperium. Might be a powerful magic weapon, but I’m not sure how to unlock its potential!” Mr. Glovely mimes stabbing someone. He puts the dagger closer to you on one of the chest.
I think Aslynn was looking for this, too. I don’t recognize the crystal it’s made of, and I don’t think it’s from this world at all!” He moves the item next to the dagger.

After seeing Mr. Glovely mime for a while, the way it does it makes you think that it might be an invisible creature wearing gloves rather than animated gloves.

As you all gets closer to the corner where the pile of chests are stacked up, you spot a disembodied pair of elegant blue gloves busily clears chests off a table. The gloves make a “Stop right there!” gesture before signaling toward the table. They gently pat its surface, then indicate the boxes on top of it. The voice from earlier says, “I see you’ve met Mr. Glovely! He wants you to help clear those boxes. I’m, uh, underneath them. It’s a bit embarrassing. Help a poor guy out? Many hands are better than two! No offense, Mr. Glovely.” The gloves wave dismissively, as if to say, “None taken.”

Rangi manages to distract the double for the moment. The night hag does not seems to listen to Corona attempt at being nice and lashes out in anger, “Do not bother me”. As she says that, Rangi heads hurts.
She does listen to Elsha thought.

Rangi: DC 17 basic Will save vs Mental Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 3) = 5

Not sure how good of an idea is it to point out at the poppet as treasure to be taken instead of what she’s looking for.

The hag does not pay attention to what Tiger is doing.

Sunshine is looking for a dagger around and trying to remember where it could be but has no idea. He just tries to provide her with false lead which seems to work as everyone can sense disappointment in her, just before Aslynn shrieks with delight and rushes to the pile of treasure at the center of the vault. “It’s here! I can taste it! Come to me, my dearest nightmares!” She rakes through the treasure with her claws, scattering coins and shredding pages. “Where is it?! Where?! I must have it! What have you done with it?!” With a final shriek, she curls in on herself, melding with the ooze from her cauldron. She and the cauldron melt into the floor, bubbling and hissing. The sounds turn to frantic chittering as dozens of rats begin pouring from the ground.

The rats are similar to the creatures that appeared before, looking like they come from nightmares, with way bigger teeth than actual rats would have.

I moved everyone to the entrance as you were trying to deal with Aslynn. The rats appeared on and around the pile of treasure.

Corona drinks one of Rain’s potion.

lesser healing potion: 2d8 + 5 ⇒ (7, 7) + 5 = 19
Corona is generalist, so has either one lesser or 2× minor unless she went for another item. Whatever the potion, 7 hp is all she needed to heal completely.
Not sure refocusing makes sense, Corona has another Focus point so due to time being of the essence might wait for the first exploration activity.

She starts looking at the scrolls. She does not seem to make any sense of them.

She goes on, trying to make sense of them but does not manage to recognize anything.

As everyone pauses for a moment, a cry from Rain in Cloudy Day pierces the vault. “Oh, no! She’s back!
Moments later, an imposing figure steps into the vault, striding straight past the cowering Pathfinder. With her wild hair, wicked curved horns, sharp teeth, and glowing eyes, she’s a fearful sight. The bones of her enormous, clawed hands make hideous cracking sounds as she heaves on a chain wrapped around her torso, dragging an iron cauldron across the stone floor. It nearly tips, spilling a glob of vile black ooze filled with vibrant constellations.
She casts her gaze around the vault and rises to her full height. She speaks, her voice like a dying goat by a crackling fire.
What is this? Ah yes, I see. Precious treasures, all for me!
A dagger, its twin my child wields. I command you, Star: break cities! Burn fields!
A key, its message yet unclear. Why does it hide? What does it fear?
Pathfinders! You’ll seek boundless wonder across the land... and find Aslynn’s nightmares, hand in hand!
Aslynn stoops to grasp the chain once more and proceeds with her cauldron into the vault, still ignoring Rain and anyone else around her.
Suddenly, a new voice—a harsh whisper—carries through the air.
Psst! Hey, you! Pathfinders! She’s not real. Well, not too real. Just a bit. No time to explain! You’ve got to distract her! Don’t let her find what she’s looking for! Distract her, then find a way to get rid of her!
Sunshine and Tiger realizes that the voice seems to come from every direction at once, as if from a talented ventriloquist.

Image of Aslynn added to tableplop.

Exploring the vault

Tableplop

Elsha moves toward the scrolls and find a couple of nice wands. He spent some time trying to guess their powers. When he shows them to the other pathfinder, he feels embarrassed as someone else kindly points out that he’s holding a couple of paintbrush, silverware, and a quill.

Rangi grabs the skull. He goes with the skull toward the pile of treasure. He spends some time among various coins, gems, art pieces before finally finding something that looks like a wand. He looks at it and it really does not seem like an art object, so it seems this is the real deal. Unlike the mask, there is nothing indicating what the item is exactly.

Identify Magic is needed to determine what the wand is. It can only be done later as it is found during the second round of exploration.
Identify Magic is also an exploration activity, but there’s a feat to do it faster.

To-Do List for My Amazing Pathfinder Friends!

1. Talking skull. Please talk to the skull. It doesn’t seem to like me. Maybe one of you will have better luck?
(Skill Check: Arcana, Diplomacy, Occultism, or Religion) Looks like Rangi got something out of the skull, unless someone is lucky, no need to go further.

2. Pile of treasure. We probably shouldn’t leave everything in a pile like that, but we’ve been short-staffed. See what’s in there!
(Skill Check: Arcana, Crafting, or Perception) Rangi found a magic wand in there.

(Skill Check: Arcana, Crafting, or Perception)

(Skill Check: Arcana, Crafting, Gladiatorial Lore, or Warfare Lore)

7. Scrolls and such. We sure did find lots of scrolls! Thought I saw some wands in there, too. Might be something useful for the Society’s spellcasters in there.
(Skill Check: Arcana, Nature, Occultism, or Religion)

Exploring the vault

Tableplop

I did not knew that was now. On the other hand, if you know you’re going to be unavailable, please indicate so.

Just checked, that’s supposed to be Thursday, so shall we pause or go more slowly? I think I’m the only one not in the USA.

Tableplop

I might have to bot Corona again. I was thinking she might Refocus. I have no idea if she has some school item potions, she’s only down 6 HP.

You might have noticed that I removed fog of war from the tablepop. I added all the locations mentioned by Rain in Cloudy Day.
The stairs between the entrance and the pile of treasure is equivalent to two square of stairs.
Is there any question on the map?

Tableplop

Elsha spends some time applying some concoction and bandages.

Rolling Sunshine’s secret check…

Sunshine goes and take a look at the scrolls. He spends too much time on stuff that is irrelevant and does not find anything useful.

Rangi takes the demon mask, put it on his face, look fearsome. He pays attention to not look in Rain in Cloudy Day’s direction as the leshy seems already frightened enough.

Investing is more or less the time needed to don the item, which is quite fast for a mask.
Is Rangi doing anything with the skull?

Corona will be able to catch up, so moving on for now.

As no creature have came back so far, the Pathfinders think they can give a try at going on trying to find something of use or a way out.

Another round of exploration for everyone, that’s why there is a question mark in front of everyone. Also note that I’ve updated the exploration list bellow with information.

Found and unused so far: four lesser healing potions.

PC Status ❓ have not stated their activity.
✅❓ Anschluss, treat wounds available 10 minutes after the exploration activity
❓❓ Corona Meridian, 31 HP, 0 focus, Curse of the Sky's Call: minor (enfeebled 1, 2 penalty to saves and DCs against Grapple, Shove, and other forms of forced movement)
✅❓ Elsha Ustosh, Immune to Treat Wounds for 1 hour
✅❓ Tiger
✅❓ Rangi

Exploring the vault

I’ve moved token where the activity are, treat wounds are done at the entrance, or near the place people moved to.

Tableplop

Elsha, you need to tell me which activity you want to do between Exploring and Treat Wounds.

Tiger moves to Sunshine and treat their wounds. It stings a little, probably feeling exhilarating to a follower of Zon Kuthon.

Ignoring Rangi’s roll, I wrote this was a secret roll and I wanted only you modifiers. Moved Rangi to the location where the

Rangi moves toward the skull and tries to get something out of it. He tries to find out if this is a kind of undead, or if it uses divine magic. After a bit of conversation, it seems to be more chatty than with Rain or Corona. The skull told him, “Call me Zykyryz! No, it isn’t my name, but it’s shorter than ‘all powerful wizard.’ That’s right, I can do magic! Just wait. Keep me close, and I’ll prove it to you.

Found and unused so far: a demon mask, three lesser healing potion.

What are each of you doing?
You have the opportunity to use a single exploration activity. It can either be one of the standard one, like refocus or treat wounds, or you go on exploring the vault. If you explore the vault, the rolls are secret, so give me your bonus.

Exploring the vault

Tableplop

Elsha, Treat Wounds is an exploration activity and like most of them, takes 10 minutes. I also wrote down to give my your bonus for your activity as those are secret rolls.

For everyone, that’s how I’m treat any secret rolls in an adventure. I can look up your bonus from the character sheet but I need at least the skill, otherwise I’ll pick the skill with the higher bonus. In the case of identifying monsters in combat, I’ll probably pick the most applicable skill, but you can always give me a skill you’d prefer to use as sometimes several can be used.

Is that the Mandarin pronunciation of Dragon Tiger?

Tableplop

I did not count the battle medicine in.

I did count Elsha using a potion but, as those are lesser healing potions; maybe he would prefer to avoid using it for now.

This is Friday evening for me so the week-end is starting. Expect a slower pace, I hope I managed to get into a faster than I did at the beginning.

If we do not get done by the end of the year, there might be a slow down at that time up to the new year festivities. We’re not there, despite one of my kid constant talk about his birthday and lately, Christmas too…
