Tarandalar's Scales: All scales are slotless items that only function so long as only one is carried. A carried scale may be activated as a standard action and does not need to be in hand, similar to a spell-like ability. All effects are at CL 5.
Scale #1: Cast
resist energy 3 times a day, user must choose either cold or electricity.
Scale #2: Cast
levitate 3 times a day, with additional "pillar of cloud" effect.
Scale #3: Cast
alter self 3 times a day, and while under its effects gains a +4 bonus on Bluff checks made against evil creatures.
Scale #4: Cast
align weapon 3 times a day to make a weapon lawful or good, but holder must possess the alignment they wish to bestow.
