I will generate chronicle sheets & report by EOD tomorrow. I think people already rolled their day job checks in the recruitment thread, but feel free to do that now if you didn't, or I'll roll when I generate the sheet.

You are able to return to the Lorespire Complex and meet with Guidance in person. Guidance appears this time in the form of a older korasha lashunta. "Congratulations on your successful completion of your first official missions as Starfinders. We're very happy to be welcoming new skilled agents such as yourself into the Starfinder Society. We're looking forward to seeing your careers as Starfinders." Thanks for playing.
Park Map
Morvruul nails a perfect line through the finish line. Laboni's racer is the first to cross the line. The Starfinders can meet Laboni at the winners podium. Before heading onto the podium with the other Starfinders Laboni says "Wow! You guys are amazing! This was so cool!" Heading up onto the podium, Laboni gets a brief chance to speak. "This was such an amazing experience everyone. I want to thank the Starfinders for supporting me. I also want to thank Ratrod for making such this race such a great event. I'm sorry that I made fun of the junk races. I think all of the racers and pit crews here are incredibly talented. Ratrod, if it's okay with you, I'd love to come back to compete again." Ratrod climbs up on stage next to Laboni, "Sure thing kid. I look forward to seeing what kinda junk you come up with in the future." A few minutes after the race ends, you get a message on your communicator from Guidance congratulating you on your completion of your commencement.

The forefront is a dangerous place for Laboni's racer and the hailstorm of fire continues. Orsis's Mega Heat Lamp begins overheating the radiator, and Velocity's Radio Blaster adds some static to the remote control. Nikon, Gardam, and Jelly all shout out helpful instructions, but the static makes it just barely too difficult for Morvruul and Laboni's racer clips a barrel on the edge of the track, slowing down significantly. Funfreemy breaks the windshield on Ratrod's racer with the wrench cannon, but Ratrod doesn't slow down at all. Nyizin unexpectedly drifts off course. Velocity and Orsis are full speed in pursuit behind you. Positions:
The finish line is just 375 feet away.
Park Map
Laboni and Velocity are in the lead, and take the brunt of all fire because of it. Gardam and Jelly both fire the the Electric Blasters at Velocity, striking them squarely. Nyizin's Electric Blaster hits as well, Velocity's machine quietly stalls out for a moment before being rebooted. Ratrod's Magnet Gun sticks another magnet on the back of your machine, but the EM shield is holding. Orsis's Mega Heat Lamp is too far away to affect your machine and Velocity's Radio Blaster bounces harmlessly off of a nearby junk pile. Morvruul punches it out of the junk pile, pulling away from the other racers. Nyizin, Orsis, and Ratrod are all full speed in pursuit behind you. Positions:
The finish line comes into view at 3000 ft, just 750 ft away.
Park Map
Laboni's racer is blasting into the lead when it is pelted by fire from opponents. A blast from Ratrod's Magnet Gun, and Orsis's Mega Heat Lamp, and Velocity's Radio Blaster all rock Laboni's racer. The connection to the remote controls briefly drops. When the screen comes back online, Laboni's racer is stuck in a pile of junk. Funfreemy's Electric blast finds its mark on Orsis, but Orsis seems to power through the blast. Nyizin takes a turn a little wide lining up her shot on you and falls further behind. All the other racers seem to have found their momentum and are gaining hard. Positions:
Park Map
The air fills with another volley of fire. Funfreemy and Gardam shoot at velocity, but the android dodges and slides forward relentlessly. Nikon takes a shot at Ratrod, but the wrench cannon falls short. Ratrod fires at Laboni but Velocity is making it hard for him to line up a shot. Nyizin fires her electric blaster at you and her net cannon at Ratrod. Morvruul casually avoids the electric blasts and slams full throttle. Ratrod is slowed down by the net before his net-cutter comes online and chops it off. Nyizin and Orsis move out of their collision, Orsis hard on the gas, Nyizin trailing behind. Positions:
Park Map
Edit: I would let Gardam shoot multiple guns at the full attack penalty, so you'd be better off spreading the guns around. I'll handle the piloting checks automatically. Gardam finds his mark, hitting Lemgem. The electric blast must have shorted something out, because black smoke starts pouring out of her car. Nikon grabs a controller, aiming the wrench cannon at Ratrod. A solid hit! Ratrod pulls the wrench out of the air inlet before he's able to get moving. Funfreemy jumps on the other controller, firing wide at Orsis, but Orsis swerves out of the way and straight into Nyizin. Morvruul meanwhile deflty weaves through potholes, and you can hear a shriek from Laboni through the headset. Positions:
Who's shooting what?
Park Map
I believe you have two energy weapons and a kinetic weapon. Aid another on piloting seems fine if the character is otherwise not doing anything. We'll consider it them standing behind the pilot and shouting. I'll be rolling piloting checks automatically to keep things moving.
Park Map
I believe one more speed boost puts you at 75' (started at 40, 7 increases = 35; 1 from Gardam, 1 from Funfreemy, 2 from Jelly, 1 from Morvruul, 2 from Nikon. This seems like a good speed though. You're pretty sure that because of gearing and track layout, this is a bit of a breakpoint :) A booming robot voice comes on the air. "Attention Racers! Please get to your places in the grid! The race will be starting in 5 minutes!" You hear the crowd cheering. Laboni looks nervous "Guys, this is it... Do you think we have a chance?" After you've set up the car on the grid, you move back to the pit crew area, you are able to connect the vid-game controls Laboni brought to the remote control unit. Who is piloting? Who is taking which guns? Any particular strategy to how you're shooting in case we want to bot parts of it? The grid lights flash green. The vehicles revving on the start line turns to whirring of gearboxes as the racers start. Electric shock and nets fill the air as the racers unload their weapons upon each other. A jolt shakes your screen as Ratrod's racer hits you with an energy blast -4 to piloting this turn. Turn one, who are you shooting?
Park Map
Could I get a clarification on what Gardam and Morvruul have improved with their most recent actions?
Park Map
"Trying to get sponsors into this scene? Hah... Well, it seems like as good of a day as any to take a risk on moving up in the world. I'll show your sponsors something to be proud of!" Lemgem cackles a bit before getting back to wrenching on her machine. As Morvruul examine's Ratrod's machine, he realizes that Rathad has a capacitor system that can absorb an energy attack against his racer and turn it into a little boost. Additionally, it has decent armoring. EAC of 12, KAC of 14
Park Map
As Morvruul approaches Lemgem he hears metal blasting from her boombox as she wrenches on her vehicle. "Merchant? Sponsors huh? You realize this is a junk race where we all just pick up crap from the ground and weld it onto our racers. Honestly, I'm just here to have rock out and have fun." Morvruul gets the sense that with her carefree attitude, it might be possible to convince her to ally with the Starfinders or goad her into making risky gambles to try to beat the Starfinders.
Park Map
Nikon surveys the competition and looking at the opponent racers he determines their speeds and weaponry. *Lemgem's racer has a speed of 50', and a basic kinetic weapon. *Nyizin's racer has a speed of 50', a basic energy weapon, and an upgraded kinetic weapon. *Orsis's racer has a speed of 50', and a basic kientic weapon. *Velocity's racer has a speed of 45', and a basic kinetic weapon. *Ratrod's racer has a speed of 55', and a basic energy weapon. The Starfinders work hard to improve Laboni's racer, improving the speed from 40' to 65' (one from Funfreemy, one from Jelly, one from Morvruul, two from Nikon). Jelly has 3 actions remaining, Gardam has 4 actions remaining, Morvruul has 3 actions remaining. When Jelly asks Laboni about driving, Laboni lets out a little squeak. Jelly did notice that there's a remote control module in the car that could be used to pilot the racer from the pit area though.
Park Map
Jelly finds a really good looking piece of junk. It's so nice as a matter of fact that it's not really junk. Laboni's Junkracer:
Jelly can improve the speed by 5', either modifier by +1, either AC by +2, install an energy weapon or kinetic weapon, or increase the penalty an existing weapon applies by -2.
Park Map
The starfinder make their way down to the racetrack in Botscrap. The track winds through a junkyard. Some early onlookers have already arrived, camping out on prime spots on top of the junk piles with the best views. As you approach the pit crew entrance a robot approaches you. "Hello pit crew. Please listen to these rules and then agree to a complete waiver of all legal rights in the case of accidental death or dismemberment during or before the race. Racers and their pit crews are to build and improve their vehicles from the available scrap around the racetrack. Vehicles built at previous junkraces can return. Racers can fire upon other competitors during the race, but firing into the audience is grounds for immediate disqualification. Racer weapons must be nonlethal and may affect only opponents’ vehicles. Your silence has been registered as acceptance of terms of service. Please proceed inside." And with that the pit crew doors slide open. Inside you see half a dozen junk racers in stalls around a bay. A young woman wearing a lab coat over a paisly dress sees you and waves. She stands by a vehicle that resembles a dune buggy. When you approach her she sighs a little "I'm Laboni and you must be the Starfinder Agents Radazam sent! Thank you so much for coming. I seem to have really gotten myself into a pickle here. These other racers have such nice looking racers, so I think I'm pretty outclassed right now." Looking around, you see the other racers.
The race starts in a couple of hours. Characters will have time for five actions apiece. Obvious actions available to the characters are to Improve Laboni's Junkracer (skills that can be used for this include computers, engineering, perception, and physical science), Investigate the Enemy (skills that can be used for this include sense motive and engineering), Sabotage (this would require both stealth and technical knowhow to execute. It is also strictly against the rules...), Socializing (a character may forego any of the checks above to socialize with their opponents).

Nikon recalls hearing about an upcoming junkrace. Apparently some nobody mouthed off to Ratrod, the reigning junkrace champion. People know that trash talking really gets under Ratrod’s fur and wonder whether there will be more harsh words exchanged before the race. Radazam nods approvingly to Morvruul, before letting out a sigh and looking sternly at Gardam. "You see, if one of your hunters has hurt themselves, you tend to their wounds to help them heal and get back to the hunt. The Starfinders have a reputation for looking after our own, and it gives our enemies pause before they pick a battle with any Starfinder. Laboni is still practically a child, so this time we come to her aid. Understood?"
Park Map
The Starfinders make their way to the headquarters of the Obsidian Spiders. A receptionist sends you to Radazam's office to meet him. The plain white doors of the office slide open to reveal a stark, dimly lit room. The chamber is bleak and expressionless in its emptiness—no vanities line its smooth black walls, and no signs of use mar its smooth black furniture. The only occupants of the suite are a bug-eyed tadpole wriggling in a glowing blue aquarium and a reptilian vesk seated behind an onyx desk. The vesk gestures to a number of chairs in front of him, his features sharply illuminated by the light of his desk’s green holoscreen. “The new graduates,” he greets, in a low and pleasant voice. “Good day. I am Radaszam, though since you are here, I should hope you already knew. “I trust you are aware of our Society’s traditions, so I will cut to the point. I have a minor situation that needs resolution. One of our members, a human named Laboni, had a rather public altercation with a junk scavenger from the Spike. You might be more familiar with the scavenger than I, actually; he is a ysoki who fancifully calls himself Ratrod. I am told he runs a popular racing competition that has, hmm, several hundreds of thousands of viewers on the station’s infosphere. For some reason, Laboni felt the need to tell him that any ‘real’ mechanic could easily beat the garbage that Ratrod and his associates slap together. Now that Ratrod has issued an infosphere-wide demand that she race him and prove it, Laboni doubts she can back that claim up. “Embarrassing, isn’t it? Not really the sort of troublemaker that suits our Society. Perhaps she would be better suited to the bottom of a trash compactor... Well, we cannot afford to throw her out, not after so many Starfinders were lost in the Scoured Stars. Besides, we can’t let people think we are so weak that we can’t control our own members, or that we cannot stand up to a scrapyard junker. No, I would like you to assist Laboni in winning this race. Show our detractors that even the least of our Society is not someone to be trifled with.” Radazam slides a pack of pit crew badges over the table. Each of the badges is marked as the Starfinder Society team.

Morvruul is able to coax the creature into the cage with bait. The fake looking copy of the creature created by Nikon's token spell seems to ammuse the creature, as it starts to chuckle. Realizing the lures have worked, Gardam quickly closes the door on the cage. At this point the starfinders are able to check the rest of the area, finding no other threats. Kieu Kein shows up just a few minutes after you've captured the creature happy to see his children safe and sound. "I can't thank you enough for making sure my children were safe!" He walks over to Morvruul and enthusiastically uses two hands to shake any free hand he can find. "It's not much, but I want you to have this!" After digging in a pocket, he produces a mk1 ring of resistance. You are able to send an all clear signal to Fitch, who will send a crew down to repair the damage and some xenobiologists down to collect the creature.
Park Map
Sorry for the lack of post today. Pretty busy day at work and next post from me is moderately involved.
Park Map
You receive a quick video message from Fitch. She looks alarmed. "Exterminate!? No! This is a great opportunity to make new contact with alien life. Try to capture it safely, and we'll have some xenobiologists check it out!"
Park Map
Gardam approaches a little too quickly and the creature burrows deeper into the pile of bins.
Park Map
Jelly hearing Gardam's frantic directions builds the nest very close to where the creature is currently hiding. As she finishes, she notices that the creature seems to be eyeing the nest curiously. "It eats everything!" the kids shout from the other room.
Park Map
Nikon tries to recall if they've seen anything like this creature before, and can't think of anything. It's quite possible that this is a brand new contact situation. Still, looking at how the creature moves, Nikon is able to realize that the creature seems to be panicking now that its nest has been torn open.
Park Map
Gardam crawls into one of the holes, only to get his armor snagged on the rough edges. Nikon on Morvruul examine the power lines to realize the damaged junction box is likely in the aft wall. Quickly taking the wall apart, you find the nest of a small creature, currently occupied by the a pinkish creature that's mostly mouth and teeth with stubby arms and legs. It looks as you as you open up the wall and let's out a confused sound. "Bwarg?" It immediately bolts out of the wall spot and into a pile of plastic bins in another corner of the room.
Park Map
When Jelly looks into the holes she doesn't see any sign of the creature. She does get the sense that someone could try climbing into the holes, being careful to avoid the sharp edges (Acrobatics), or that one could use their knowledge of ship design to figure out likely locations for the creature (Engineering).
Park Map
Kieu Si points into the room beyond. "Mr. Chompers is in there." Morvruul's question about forbidden technology seems to be ignored entirely by the children. Kieu Lan offers "Mr. Chompers isn't a bad guy, it just eats funny things. I fed it my homework!" Kieu Si adds "Forbidden technology is watching TV after bedtime! Dad always says "No, it is forbidden!"" Those of you looking into the room beyond realize that various holes have been chewed through the walls in this area. The holes vaguely resemble the burrows of a rodent.
Park Map
Morvruul, as you look at the doorway you notice that there's a thermal sensor in the door that's blinking rapidly. If you point it out and ask for Jelly's help:
With Jelly's prior engineering check, the trap has lowered the sensitivity on the fire extinguisher to around humanoid body temperature. You are able to set it back to the normal value. "Uh, Chompers is our pet. But we weren't sure dad would let us keep it." Kieu Lan offers. "We found it. And it likes to eat things. Chompers is so funny!" Kieu Si adds.
Park Map
Kieu Lan replies quickly to Morvruul "Easy! Spaghetti, beef and choy choy." When Nikon suggests shooting Kieu Si shouts "No, don't shoot chompers!" Funfreemy, nothing is standing out to you.
Park Map
"Oh, you've found my children? Kieu Lan is my daughter and Kieu Si is my son. Are they okay? ... And no, no pets... They'd know the ingredients of Daddy's Pasta. It's noodles, hamburger, and Castrovelian Bok Choy." Kieu Kein pauses a moment, "Hold on, I'm on my way to E-deck." Kieu Si looks at Morvruul with mild confusion, "Shapeshifters?"
Park Map
A moment passes before you receive a call, Morvruul. "Hello, this is Kieu Kein, I heard you wanted to reach me. How can I help you?" Meanwhile, the larger kid replies to Nikon "There's no pet. I don't know what you're talking about." as she glances nervously through the open doorway.
Park Map
"We've never been to that room and we don't know anything about our pet." the smaller kid offers. The bigger kid looks wide eyed. "We don't even have a pet!" "Yeah, and we definitely didn't set up a boobytrap in the doorway." The bigger kid eyes go wide again before she blurts out, "Yeah, it was trapped before we got here!"
Park Map
No obvious signs of the electrical problem are in this room. You do notice that in the next room, it looks like there's a thin layer of frost coating the floor though.
Park Map
The crying stops and a second kid pops up, "Well, we were hiding because you're yelling at us." The kids do come out and look at the token spell quality kitten in mild wonder.
Park Map
After Gardam bellows his threat you hear a high pitched bawling begin from behind one of the buckets. From behind another bucket one of the kids pops their head up. "Please don't hurt us, we're just kids!" The crying from behind the other bucket continues.
Park Map
Jelly is able to look at the video feed and rewind a few minutes. When you were opening this door, it looks like the kids hid behind the buckets in the corner of the room.
Park Map
Jelly was able to turn the lights on earlier, so it is light in the room. The lights occasionally flicker, but provide good visibility. Nikon doesn't recall any supernatural phenomena that are likely to explain this.
Park Map
It's a short walk down to the C block. When you get there the door needs to be forced open. The door opens onto a small platform. Scattered barrels and boxes line the lowered floor of this. On the main floor and to the left, there is another doorway leading father into C-block. However, you do not see the children you'd seen on the camera feeds.
Park Map
Jelly is able to reroute some power and the lights come on dimly. From here you are able to access the diagnostic systems and detect a short in the C block. Check the systems there, you realize there are security cameras in this area. If you view the live footage of the cameras, you see two small human children playing some 'game' where they're taking turns tripping each other.

The Starfinders and Ceren head to a busy docking bay to grab an Armada Shuttle Taxi Company shuttle to fly out to the Master of Stars. After everyone's loaded, the shuttle launches. The station’s Armada can be seen from the shuttle’s view screen as it takes off, gleaming figures standing out against the emptiness of space. The Master of Stars immediately stands out from the rest, as layers and layers of scaffolding obscure its hull. Tiny lights flicker among the metal beams as distant figures weld plates and heat shields to the ship’s exterior. The shuttle smoothly glides closer until it reaches the starship’s docking bay, slipping through the magic field that keeps the hold pressurized with breathable atmosphere. As the shuttle doors open, a small drone flies in and pops up a holoscreen, displaying a harried-looking ratfolk. “Finally, fresh meat!” the ysoki exclaims over the screen, sounding pleased. “Name’s Fitch—pleasantries over, time to get to work. I had some trouble earlier with the lights flickering on the ship, and now both the lights and computers have suddenly gone out on E-Deck. No idea what’s causing it, but you work this job long enough and—” Fitch’s attention flicks to something offscreen, and she shouts “Kirkath! The welding torch is not a toy! You wanna go in the toddler’s pen with the other kids?” She snorts dismissively before continuing, “Sorry, some of these little ones would cut off their own heads if I let them. Anyway, it could be some lunkhead screwed up the wiring, but that’s a pretty big system failure for a simple electrical short. I’d prefer to send in some people with combat training to scout it out, just in case someone or something is sabotaging the ship. If it’s nothing, great, get the power back on if you can. If there’s something suspicious, use your comm units to report in to me. I’ll give you the access codes, so— Selicha! If you touch that panel I will staple you to the hull!” The screen on the drone cuts out, then flashes to display the ship’s schematics and the passwords for the computers on E-Deck. You are able to traverse the ship via lifts and maintenance tunnels to reach E-Deck. When you arrive, you realize the power is indeed out. E-Deck is in total darkness, and the doors and magnetic locks are all unpowered. You can manually open the doors with a bit of elbow grease.

You are able to report to Historia-7 either in person or remotely. When you speak to her, she thanks you for your work. "Good job Starfinders. Excellent work on forging Ceren's death documents. You've done a great job and from chatting with Ceren it seems that she's really enjoyed the activities and will be helping out the Starfinder Society for now. "I've taken your suggestion that she keep a low profile on the Master of Stars for a bit, and I've reached out to Fitch to clear her stay on the ship. Why don't you bring her out there while you're on your way to meet Fitch?" Morvruul and the data: Historia-7 will discreetly request Morvruul send the data digitally, drop it off, or send it via courier robot. She makes no offer to share the data.

"Boss... This funny looking Kasatha has a nice looking gun. And if you look in back, I see some spears, an axe, a bow, and one of them solarian monks folks. I hear solarians can choke you with their force powers. I think the elf even has a gun." The resolve of the group seems to be fading. Suddenly, another member of the group pipes up, "Okays boss, what's says we to not killing nobody, and just sayings we done dids it?" The leader of the group speaks, "Oh, this ain't my grandma! Sorry for the confusion folks, we'll be on our way now!" And with that, the thugs turn around and briskly walk away.
Park Map
At this time a few of your might notice a trio of dejected looking thugs are walking through the park, 50' away. "Boss? What are we gonna do? The old lady already kicked the bucket! How are we gonna get paid for taking her out now?" one of them asks a little too loudly. As they look forward towards the bridge one of them perks up and says much quieter, "I see an old lady up there's. What's says we to gettin' that little old lady and tellin' everyone it's was us who offed the hacker like?" The thug in the lead seems to take kindly to this idea and jumps into motion, confidently striding up to the bridge. "Oh, folks, we are so grateful you done found Grandma here! She's a bit senile these days and gets to telling some crazy stories. She's been missing from the old folks home for the past week and we been so worried! Granny, let's get you back to Happy Days before your friends and family worry anymore!"

Ceren chuckles and smiles at Gardam. "Oh, I fully understand. I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with the Starfinder Society." She takes the ID datachip from Jelly. "Thank you for the hard work!"

Hi all, sorry for the lack of posts over the weekend. I didn't have my laptop with me due to some poor planning. Now, back to our regularly scheduled game :)

With the body disguised, armed, and disarmed, and connected to Jelly's forged death certificate attached, you are convinced that there are very few cracks in your work and this should dissuade pursuit. Morvruul, if you try to let the other Starfinder's help decrypt the data:
It's really well encrypted, and you weren't able to make progress. You are able to head to your meeting point with Ceren at a bridge in Jatembe Park. Park Map When you arrive, you see Ceren looking up stream and leaning on the edge of the bridge handrail. Feel free to position yourselves on the map between your starting edge and Ceren.
Park Map
Jelly is able to create documents for a new identity and to forge a death certificate. Morvruul may try to obtain a body for even greater depths of deception. Gardam's unlikely suggestion that about living off grid does lead to the realization that some of the ships in the Armada could be a convenient place to keep a low profile. You realize you'll be heading out to the Master of Stars later in your commencement even.
