Appearance:
Freya dresses in muted brown and green, small bits of equipment in all the pouches that make up her explorers clothing. When not covered by a hat or cloak, she is always brushing back her long dark blonde hair. Her pack and cutlass are slung out of the way of her being able to draw and use her longbow.

Background:
As a kid, Freya was largely ignored by an indifferent aunt and ran around back woods, attracted by the mystery of what was beyond the next hedge. For pocket money she helped cut timber and raft them downriver to the sawmills.
One day, when spying on an old one legged hermit, she was rather easily caught by Angela. While doing chores for her as punishment their relationship warmed and Angela became her mentor. Village rumor said she was a warrior out of legend, but for Freya she became a parental figure that she didn’t realize she needed. Angela showed her the secrets of how the forest could be a home, how birds and beasts thought and moved; but mostly she showed Freya how to shoot a bow. In the last few years, Angela began a punishing training regime of endurance, focus and forethought, teaching her how to use concealment and maneuver, to be able to survive when the things you hunt suddenly start hunting you.
Recently, the training took on an urgency that Freya didn’t understand; as they played hide and seek Angela’s cane found her backside with greater force, but it took her longer as Freya improved. Freya wondered if it had something to do with the mysterious tattoo that seemed to be itching more and more.

Personality:
Freya is personally shy and has a difficult time making friends. Once made she is warm and caring, even to a fault.
She is watchful and wary, especially in new areas; she always has her head on a swivel, looking for ambushes.
Freya is curious, always wondering what is behind a door or under a bush; often she takes risks that she perhaps should not to satisfy it.
She likes making her own equipment and bows, and is exited by the possibilities of trick arrows. When the impulse strikes, she will try her hand at making something new and useful.
She is a little intimidated by the sleek ladies of the town, and is secretly terribly concerned; is she supposed to do her hair, wear clothes and makeup in the same manner?
