You are experienced in the tradition of honor-dueling known as the Ushaan, having spilt much blood upon the ice. When you make a melee Attack, or are targeted by a melee Attack, and buy one or more d20s by adding to Threat, you may re-roll the dice pool for the Task. Further, you own an Ushaan-tor, a razor-sharp ice-miner’s tool used in these duels.

Once per scene, when you succeed at a Task during combat or another perilous situation, you may spend one Determination. If you do, choose a single ally. The next Task that ally attempts counts as having assistance from you, using your Presence + Command.

Succeeding at a Task during Social Conflict generates one bonus Momentum which must be used for the Obtain Information Momentum Spend to gain knowledge about an individual on the other side of the interaction. If the Social Conflict involves an Extended Task, the character gains the Scrutinize 1 benefit when rolling Challenge Dice

In a Conflict, whenever the character performs the Assist Task and would then pay two Momentum to keep the initiative, the cost to keep the initiative is reduced to 0.

Aytthi was born to an artistic family on the Andorian homeworld but she grew up on the historically significant planet of Alrond. Her family were musicians and artists and basically gave her no structure and she found that she was fairly charismatic. She fell in with a street gang when she was a teenager and quickly became a street tough and a leader. Here she learned the way of the Ushaan. She became very handy with the Ushaan-tor and was able to increase her gang's influence. During a minor heist she was caught and was given the choice between serving in Star Fleet or prison... she chose Starfleet. She took her tests and she was thought she could make an officer. She went to the academy but learned that improvisation and leadership was the way to get ahead and excelled. Upon graduation she was assigned to the USS Xenophon under Captain Garth of Izar and his reputation for discovery and never underestimating the coldness of space impressed her. She saw the discoverer unleash his tactical skill and win the infamous battle of Axanar and this great man take a hefty injury to the head and then he was sent to convalesce.

She was then transferred to the USS Sebrova where she served starting as Lt. Jg all the way to Lieutenant Commander during the Klingon war under Thykir Shran.
