Female Elf Cleric [3], Warlock [1]
opping a Cinnamon stick in her mouth Firefly makes sure to keep a good eye on her surroundings, having only needed 2 hours sleep she stays up most of the night keeping watch for any surprises, but in the morning greets those just awakening ready to move. Common: "A shame his brother choose the path he did, sometimes we all make mistakes, too bad he can;t correct it now." Firefly spends a few moments to refresh her Warlock powers, and then a quick prayer to protect her from the weather. See daily routines for spells/warlock powers cast if needed.

Firefly gasps as she is drawn out of harms way and nods a silent thank you to Ost. Not sure what to do at the moment, she pauses to see if anyone needs help. 1: Firefly holds her action for now, and will help with healing if needed. 2: If no one is in need of healing she will target a Gnome that tried to crush her with her Eldritch Blast. Eldricth Blast [ranged touch attack +2]: 18+2 = 20
3: If no one is hurt, and no one is in range of my blast [60'] then I will use spider climb to close the gap to the gnomes. I can move 20 then shoot, or use double move action to go 40 feet up the side. Firefly scrambles up the eldge as if she were an insect, deftly pulling her lithe form up the sheer surface with astonishing ease.

Nodding in agreement she follows Artemis' lead, but too late it seems for some trap is being sprung already. She tries to time her escape around avoiding the stones that are already coming down.

Firefly uses her "Lore" ability to see if anything sounds familiar. (same as the Bard ability) 'Bardic' Lore: 1d20 +2 -> [14,2] = (16) And a backup Knowledge Religion role based on the item stolen if needed. Knowledge Religion: 1d20 +4 -> [10,4] = (14)

A small surge of suprise crosses her features, as she realizes she stands before a potential Paladin. She assumes you are anyway. Common: "Sir Artemus, a pleasure." she says with a curtsy. "This is a pleasant surprise. You will have to introduce me to your lady friend here."

Firefly Approaches Artemis as he seems to be the leader, or at least the man in charge for the moment.
Elven:
Common:
She pauses as if listening to unheard voices, a vacant look in her eyes. "I would like to help out if possible, and you look like the kind of person that could use my talents."

Firefly makes a quick flick of hand movements and summons a prayer to her lips to get a better idea of what is going on out there. She will hold the effect the full 5 minutes, and concentrate on the gathering outside in her line of sight. Detect Thoughts:
Spoiler: source d20srd.org: So the DM doesn't have to go looking for it Detect Thoughts Divination [Mind-Affecting] Level: Brd 2, Knowledge 2, Sor/Wiz 2 Components: V, S, F/DF Casting Time: 1 standard action Range: 60 ft. Area: Cone-shaped emanation Duration: Concentration, up to 1 min./level (D) Cast as a Level (4+1) = 5 for having Knowledge domain] Saving Throw: Will negates; see text Spell Resistance: No You detect surface thoughts. The amount of information revealed depends on how long you study a particular area or subject.
Presence or absence of thoughts (from conscious creatures with Intelligence scores of 1 or higher).
Number of thinking minds and the Intelligence score of each. If the highest Intelligence is 26 or higher (and at least 10 points higher than your own Intelligence score), you are stunned for 1 round and the spell ends. This spell does not let you determine the location of the thinking minds if you can’t see the creatures whose thoughts you are detecting.
Surface thoughts of any mind in the area. A target’s Will save prevents you from reading its thoughts, and you must cast detect thoughts again to have another chance. Creatures of animal intelligence (Int 1 or 2) have simple, instinctual thoughts that you can pick up. Each round, you can turn to detect thoughts in a new area. The spell can penetrate barriers, but 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt blocks it.
A copper piece.

Having been up for hours now, Firefly descends the stairs to check out what all the commotion is about. She tucks a small notebook into her empty arrow quiver that hangs on her hip. Her hair cascades freely down her back and ends at her waist, fiery red hair with accents of blond and gold, catch the morning light it seems to vibrate like a wall of shimmering heat. She wrangles it into a ponytail and ties it back with golden ribbons. The Elven girl wears, over a short sleeved cotton shirt, a gleaming suit of mithral armor, fashioned from what looks like tiny leaves that overlap each other. Wrapped around her left wrist is a black leather wristband, embedded in the bracer is a silver holy symbol. An image of the sun, with some strange language etched around it shaped like clouds. Besides her tight, form fitting black pants, and her thigh high leather boots she seems unarmed. She walks with a confidence of someone not needing a weapon however, almost as she could talk - or fight, her way out of a situation. Her eyes however reflect a very benign being, a warm shade of Amber, they sparkle in the morning light with energy and vibrancy. Waving off any offers for breakfast she seems very interested in what interrupted her morning rituals. She wanders over to get a better look from the doorway before venturing outside. Pulling out a stick of Cinnamon she playfully moves it back and forth inside her mouth with her tongue while she tries to sneak a peek at the commotion.

How about I was present at the bar, including the fight and slept in an adjacent room that night near the current PCs? I'm quite different from Desna in a lot of regards and wouldn't want to step on her toes. I can get to then interact with people my style while your away for a week to giving us something to talk about. I'd be happy to be heading downstairs after hearing all this commotion, being a light sleeper I'm sure I heard the start of it well.
Sorry for the multiple posts, I come up with an idea and post it I don't expect to use all, but it can't hurt to ask. I think I'd like to build this character with an evil Father (vampire) and a good mother (celestial) that fell in love and produced this little Elfy girl. So with that in mind (and something I'd like to write up as part of a back history I never learned.) For Firefly I'd still like to take the Vampire Bloodline path, class cleric 3, warlock 1. For the warlock stuff, and this is pure "fluff" not stat modification, i'd like her power to be manifested as "firefly's" or "fiery" which makes sense with the vision of her I worked out. for example her eldritch blast looks like burning light, her ability to "summon swarm" looks fiery as well. Instead of bats I'd summon firefly's themselves (they do the same exact thing as the bat swarm of course.) Pure aesthetics, no stats modifications needed. Gear remains the same, I need to rework the char sheet I posted to remove the extra cleric level [minor detail] Feats change:
If thats approved I'll be done and happy :) Either way I'll be happy, i have been peeking at the board and it seems you got a good group of players. Thanks Again, sorry for all the homework I just threw at you, I have all the books in digital format if you need to look anything over I asked about. |
