I have a character in my game who specializes in mounted combat. The nature of his mount and the character, however make it to where he can be mounted in a dungeon and its not a rare occurrence. I say this to emphasis the following.

We are 14th level.

He is Cavalier(Gendarme and Beast Rider) 7, Fighter (Dragoon) 7

He has the following feats:
-Vital Strike
-Devastating Strike
-Ride-by-attack
-Spirited Charge
-Power Attack

He uses a spear for a small character (1d6 damage) and he has a strength mod of +3, or +4 since he uses both hands with the spear.

He averages 90 damage if everything lines up.

As you can see, that seems a tad bit high. Are we doing this correctly or is there something we are missing?

One of my players had a question that I couldn't answer find an answer for. He was wondering, if he made the requisite costs (minus envervation, in this case), could he simply "add" the special ability of the Sword of Life-Drinking (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/magic-weapons/specific-magic-weapons/s word-of-life-stealing) to his katana?

My initial reaction was, "hell no!" Haha, but I couldn't find any rule that said he couldn't in a quick perusal of the core rulebook.

Would this be GM caveat or is there a rule that says otherwise?

I just got finished reading, "Maiden, Mother, Crone," and I was thrilled with the small chunk of information provided for the Dvezda Marches. I also own and have read "The Varnhold Vanishing," and was equally thrilled by the information presented there.

That being said, I would be interested in an Iobaria Gazetteer Campaign Setting book at some point in the future. Just thought I would put my two copper pieces in, as nothing ventured, nothing gained. :)

Sorry if this is posted elsewhere but I couldn't find it with a quick search.

I have a character in my group who has the above build. They are currently 14th level with the Epic point buy. That being said, this character is able to achieve incredible amounts of damage. RAW, is this even allowed? The wording on the Giant Fist Gauntlets is a little vague. Here is the text from d20pfsrd:

"As a swift action, the wearer of these rough leather gauntlets can expand her hands to twice normal size and harden to the consistency of hardwood. This transformation lasts for up to 20 rounds per day, though they need not be consecutive rounds. If the wearer hits with an unarmed strike or natural attack using her enlarged hands, she may attempt to bull rush her opponent as a free action."

Does the wearer's attack damage go up a size like suggested or does this only confer a free bull rush? Hell, the text might suggest that the damage dice go up TWO sizes (but this, I doubt seriously).

Anybody have this issue or could provide some insight into its validity?

Note: Apologies if this has been covered or is on the wrong messageboard.

In my game, I am incorporating Psionics from Dreamscarred Press yet, I'm warry of certain things.

1) The Psychic Warrior seems awesome in a few ways, yet I question two choices. A) They only have a d8 hit die? I thought these are supposed to be the "tank" Psionic Class? B) They do not have a full BAB. This seems strange for the same reason as "a." For those playing with the Psychic Warrior, does he feel to under-powered?

2) The Soul Knife, on the other hand seems to overpowered! I love the theme of the class yet I'm really worried about this class's potential abilities. Full BAB, d10 hit die, ect. The blade skills are very good (Yay!) but some do appear too good like Combat Slide. For those GMing a Soul Knife character, is the character overpowered?

I recognize that most of my worries come from just a capsule review of the product and not play-testing, hence coming to you guys! What are your opinions or even better, playing experience, with these classes?
