Fellorian pauses on her way to do just that, nods in acknowledgement to Celebrindal, and heads out into the surrounding forest.

Stealth: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (2) + 23 = 25.
Perception: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (2) + 17 = 19.

Wow...RNG hates me today..

Fellorian suffers no penalties to moving at full speed an maintaining stealth. So she will be moving at full speed, ranging forward to scout and falling back to report as the group moves forward.

Elf Champ .. to answer an old question of yours:

To deactivate the old campaign threads, do these steps:

1) Click Here to go to the campaign page for the Kingmaker, The Elves are Coming! thread.

2) On the left side of the screen, click the Edit this campaign link.

3) Directly under the field displaying the campaign name, put a checkmark in the This campaign is no longer active checkbox.

You can repeat this with any other threads you wish to close, such as the one you used for recruitment, by clocking on the name of the campaign as step one.

As I have been recently advised by people from Paizo, when I told applicants for a PbP I am setting up that I would share the player's guide with them, even though it is free, you are not allowed to distribute it. Anyone can download it for free "here".

For the sake of good relationships with Paizo, no one should redistribute it to anyone else.

The one thing I will say about formatting is this: Do not use the [dice='nameofroll'] tags that they suggest. If you do, and someone replies to your roll with dice rolls in their reply it does weird stuff...

I always use the following:

She shakes her head in frustration at the strange reluctance of the Helmsman to give her basic equipment as she takes note of the cavernous empty space inside the handy haversack once she is done packing. It occurs to me that the Wardens of the Wild book may have a different text for Dragon Magic than the one I am reading. I am using the Dragon Magic trait from the d20pfsrd website. It reads as follows:

Dragon Magic wrote:
Some elves have potent draconic blood. Elves with this racial trait who take a draconic bloodline as a class feature treat their Charisma scores as 2 points higher when determining the DC and uses per day of all bloodline abilities and bloodline spells. Additionally, elves with this trait add spells with the draconic descriptor to their class spell lists for any spellcasting classes in which they have levels.

Obviously with no levels in sorcerer, the first part of that does me no good and is not even being factored into my choice. The second part of it, which is not dependent on a bloodline, is why I am taking it.

Male Elf Arcanist 1 [ HP 50/50 | AC 20/14/16 , Fort +3, Ref +8, Will +8 | Init +10; Perception +12 (low-light vision)]

The main reason for the Dragon Magic trait is that it adds all the 'draconic' descriptor spells to your class spell list.

It is replacing the Magic in the Blood trait which, in my opinion, is not worth having; a +1 to one spell DC one time per day? No thanks. Since I am planning on having her focus on buffing spells or spells that do not allow saving throws or spell resistance, Dragon Magic is still better than Elven Magic.

She is focused primarily as a sneaky archer with some magic. For that role it seems to me that a higher constitution is more important that a high charisma.

Where do you find Sorcerous Guile? If it is from that book about elves, can you put the full text of the feat in here? If it is good enough to supplant Precise Shot, it may also be worth switching her attributes.

Problem with survival is, it reduces you to half speed. Not really stealthy... not really fast.

Repeating this for emphasis: The problem with relying on survival is that it slows you down just as much as, if not more than, a medium load does, and is not particularly stealthy.

I am pretty sure that the concept that I and the others were trying to accomplish is not to carry a half ton of equipment all-day-every-day, but to take more than we would carry on a daily basis and create hidden equipment and supply caches in strategic fallback/re-supply positions. Then move around fast a quiet with only a light load.

If they do not want to let us do that, then fine, we will adapt and overcome. But that is a pretty typical strategy for guerrilla forces to use.

@Fellorian: The seasoned elf loosens up a bit. "Well, in that case, just remember that your actions will save the lives of other elves. Even you will not receive any open praise or festivals in your honor, your work is essential to our survival. Though Kyonin and the elven people are safe, this could change tomorrow or next week, when some evil beings seek to have our ears for lunch. We, the Elonarlry, do the dirty work that many of our kin would not, nor could not, perform. That is why you are here."

He stands up and heads to a nearby door that appears like a portal. "So, you want 160 total arrows? Don't know how you are going to carry all those, considering that your special quiver holds 60. We do have all the arrow types you need, perhaps the others in your team should come down soon. I don't think anyone else was equipped with ammunition either. But you start with 60. The lightning javelins are all out however." He scratches his pointy chin for a moment. "Well, there MIGHT be a way to carry the amount of arrows you ask for..."

The discussion thread is not linked to the campaign. So anytime we might want to use it we have to go back to try and find it again. Can you please link it to the campaign?

"Well, the idea wass to take more arrows than I will be carrying at any given time, and to conceal them in supply caches or at a base camp location to cut down on the need for resupply from Kyonin. But if you have another way that would be handy as well."

The higher ups will give you intel such as maps and the like later on in a briefing that will no doubt occur soon. In regards to arrows, we have pretty much everything you could ask for and plenty of it, with Slaying arrows being the one exception. You can mix them up or have all arrows be of one type. I suggest the former, as you could run into all sorts of things out there. How yo do it is up to you."

He stops reading and gives you a sideward look. "As for why you are here, that is your decision and none other. In a way, you should not be asking this now that you have joined us." He said this in a tone that was a bit cold and condescending. "It is good to ask questions, as we don't allow mindless followers in our ranks, but keep your focus up at all times, ESPECIALLY before a mission."

She looks at the Helmsman quizzically, speaking in a respectful voice, "Helmsman, I think you have misunderstood me. I do not question why I am here or why I do what I do. There has never been any question or doubt of the kind. I simply find that it is easier to maintain my focus with small reminders of home."

She shrugs lightly, "Anyway, I would like to take 60 sturdy arrows, 40 human bane, 40 animal bane, and 20 monsterous humanoid bane. If they are available I would also like to take three javelins of lightning."

<Fellorian, let's roleplay here, starting with the visit to the Helmsman.>

When you enter the quartermasters, you immediately notice that this large underground complex is elaborate. Lighting is done by magical lights mounted on the walls with luminescent lanterns that hover in circular motions. The stonework is excellent, suggesting that it was done either by Dwarves or by the best Elven masons around. When you approach a long counter, you notice that there are no cages or iron bars. Sitting behind the counter to your left is an aged elf with his back to the wall reading a book. Without looking up, the Helmsman speaks. "Well? What do you wish to acquire today, youngling?"

:)

Fellorian bows with respect to the older elf, saluting with her hand pressed to her heart, "Honored Helmsman, I am to be deployed far from Kyonin, and I wish to acquire a few items that will make my time there safer, and a little easier. And though it is not strictly necessary, to also provide me with a reminder of why I am there."

She rises from her bow, and smiles at the venerable Helmsman, "A tree tent to provide some shelter from weather, as well as an oft-overlooked refuge. I would like to exchange my arrows for an equal number of those wonderful, sturdy ones you have, as resupply will be spotty at best. Several seasoning packets for trail stew, to help bring a bit of Kyonin with me. A journal book to record notes about our mission. A block of soap for obvious reasons; preferably scented with plants natural to the Stolen Lands south of Brevoy."

She pauses, thinking, then turns her eyes back to him, "Is there anything else I should be taking? Anything that you have found to be useful on missions such as this one?"

Fellorian takes a brief detour in the early part of the day, after the others are done arguing about who would lead, and visits Helmsman Cyathan Nissyen. After requisitioning a few bits of equipment and trading in her arrows for the more durable variety, she spends the rest of the morning practicing archery in the windy conditions.

Hungry after the morning's activity, and with all her packing finished, Fellorian relaxes in the dining hall with a plate of warm and delicious food before her.

The next morning, she dispassionately watches the exchange between Celebrindal and Estancia as she calmly eats her breakfast. With one exception, I do not particularly care who leads at the beginning. None of us have experience leading others in a combat situation...
