About FDEL

Background:
Fallon Del'Roy has never met his father. That's not to say that he hasn't been a part of his life. Afterall, his mother receives a coin purse every month to cover any expenses he may create. It's a strange relationship, but it works for Fallon.

One month the coin purse was accompanied by a letter. It included directions that Fallon was to immediately travel to Korvosa and attend the Acadamae to become a war mage to help in the fight against Molthune. Fallon would have preferred to stay at home in Tamran, but his mother tells him that there's no arguing with a man like his father.

So Korvosa it was. The Acadamea was a bit… strict for Fallon. He soon learned that there was a second academy in Korvosa, the Theumanexus College, and its pace seemed much more reasonable to Fallon. Though he has the talent, Fallon lacks commitment or any real drive. Despite an unfortunate, and inexplicable inability to conjure fire, he was able to graduate from the College and returned to Nirmathas.

En route back to Tamran, Fallon went through something of an existential crisis (where he believed if he went to the frontline he would cease to exist, and to him this was a crisis). One evening Fallon slipped away from the caravan he was travelling with, and made his way to Phaendar. This town was small enough that he could hide away from his family and responsibilities, but big enough to ensure he always had plenty to drink. He makes a living as a Spellmonger, using his magic to help with the mundane duties found around town. The lifestyle suits him, as he can sleep most of the day, drink most of the night, and still have enough money to do both.

Personality:
Fallon has never needed to work for anything in his life. This has made him rather adept at finding magical ways around any sort of physical labour. When he find out that all he had to do to learn magic was lay in a hammock all day and read books, he was sold.

Not one for confrontation, Fallon prefers to stay out of the spotlight. He is happy to share a pint and a tale, like any good follower of Cayden Calean, but won't talk about himself.

Fallon is a man without a cause. He has spent his life floating around from one interest to another, never really committing to anything, including his future as a warmage. Despite this it would be a mistake to confuse his laisez-faire attitude with weakness, or cowardice.

Though Fallon has only been in Phaender for a few months, he has grown fond of the people, and the relatively quiet life he has found here. He enjoys being useful to the townsfolk, and helping out whenever possible (without breaking a sweat, of course). He's nervous that a day will come when responsibility catches up with him and takes him away from his new life.

Appearance:
With untanned skin, a slim build and medium-length, dishevelled brown hair, Fallon is not unattractive. Quick with a smile, with heavy-lidded hazel eyes, and typically found in somewhat fashionable (but very comfortable) clothing, he exudes an air of casualness whenever he is seen.

Fallon is rarely alone, as he is accompanied by his familiar named Corbyn (typically in the form of a Cooper's hawk).
