About Eythir
Eythir worked as a "bridger," leaping between dangerous gaps between the broken fragments of his planet's remains in Near Space to connect the slowly orbiting landmasses together. He miscalculated a jump and nearly died, hurtling through the void towards a gravitational anomaly. His teammate miraculously saved him, though Eythir spent weeks physically and mentally recovering.
His brush with the anomaly awakened a curiosity with entropy bordering on occult obsession. As his own culture's understanding of technology and magic was largely lost to history, he knew he must leave home to further his studies. Eythir joined the Starfinder Society, which gave him connections on Absalom and other pact worlds.
Eythir gained employment at the Eyeswide holistic detective agency, which has an interest in cults and the paranormal. He makes frequent trips to the Idari to study at the Kasathan Temple of the Black Butterfly, which he believes is key to defending himself from those who pursue entropy for nihilistic reasons, including cultists of the Devourer and the Old Ones of the dark tapestry.
