So the group attacked the sunken queen but did not get past Bierawash. In the fight, the character that had Serinthial died and dropped the sword. The group beat a hasty retreat but left the sword behind in Bierawash’s lair. Now I need to think, does the devil fish grab it and move it into his larder, does Illeosa using her clairvoyance/clairaudience abailty send someone to grab it.

What would people do here? So far Togomar died, but Vimanda, Vavana and Krojun are with the queen in the pyramid.

Well my group used the Harrow deck of many things today, or maybe I should say the deck of a couple things because they drew a lot of the same cards. Many Harrow points were used to avoid effects but of them some things came up. Namely the queen mother, so do they get a Formian Myrmarch ally forever? That one kind of stinks for me as the GM haha.

So the group is investigating deaths head vault and after fighting in E18 The group was separated by some tactically poor decisions and hungry pit spells. They have bitten off too much and had to separate Zenobia and Kordaitra with a blade barrier. After they finished slaying Tisharue and the grey maidens Kor and Zen retreated back to the mother of thornes. The group healed themselves and continued investigating, tracking Zenobia back to the room where the biggest fight of the adventure occurred. The group jumped in to fight and Kor challenged the Slayer and dished out a bit of damage then the MOT cast Dominate Person on the slayer. Failed the save she told him to attack the group, another save...failed. The group was in dire straits now.

The slayer struck the swashbuckler who had just finished beating up Zenobia a bit, hitting her once but missing her the other two times. The cleric came up with a some what good idea to cast Anti magic field to stop the dominate person, which worked but the MOT was not happy and immediately dropped the cleric with a few well placed blows. The now freed slayer full attacked Zenobia with power attack, adding on a hero point on his second attack for good measure and dropped her. But MOT stepped forward and had a crit plus sneak attack and just dropped him immediately.

Now only the swashbuckler and the Sorc are left. The sorc backs out of the AMF and buffs and the swashbuckler wails away on Kordaitra dropping her. The MOT shot the sorc with thorns from a distance and the swashbuckler turned her attention on her. The MOT reciprocated the favour and wailed away on the Swashbuckler, who parried, dodged and defensive rolled to no avail and was dropped to unconscious.

We stopped it there, I knew the MOT was a bad ass but holy smokes. +24 to hit is crazy. Now I am left with a situation. The sorc, is already thinking to teleport out with most of the group but will have to drag them back out of the AMF so may only get one person out. The cleric is stuck, because of the AMF the slayer is still dominated but unconscious. But the question is, what would the MOT do to the remaining people? How would you guys handle this situation, I’m looking for opinions and suggestions please.

So I have a Kitsune (Sal’awaan) PC in my group who has tried to stay in human form for most of her adventuring career. She has the Feral Vitality feat from lords of wilderness. My question is when she is in human form does she lose her racial ex abilities like Crypt Stalker and acute senses as well as fast healing from feral vitality Feat because they are all extraordinary abilities?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I was looking at a big bad end guy and came across adding the ghost template to the Kraken. But it looks like it would lower it's CR significantly? For starters it's AC would go from 32 to 13 and it's HD would drop from d10 to d8 lowering it's HP by 60 because it loses it's Con bonus of +9hp a HD to +7hp a HD.

I know I can do whatever I want to make it stronger if I desired(which I don't) I am just curious if I make it verbatim to the rules should it's CR actually come down?

So I'm running a fairly high level game and have a Druid in the party that is not feeling the love of wild shape anymore. When they change into a huge fire elemental via elemental body they get the burn secondary power. But no where does it stat how the damage is scaled. Small elementals get 1d4, medium 1d6 but the three huge forms get all different damage which makes me think it is based on their hit dice and not size.

My thoughts are to allow the 2d10 variant for being higher than 16hd but just wondering what other thoughts are?

I have a WtW encounter with my party in the sewers. He has built wood flooring over pits of water. I was wondering what happens when he hits water. Does his form stay together, can he swim, does he drown...without magical aid. It is a good way to escape if he can discorporate himself to his swarm form and drop through the cracks in the floor to escape.

Thanks
